My cats love it
My cats love this. They smell it and come running. Good quality as some of the other brands make them throw up but this one doesnt. Great value for the cost

Finicky kitty loves it. What more can I say?
My very finicky cat loves this food. She’s an older cat and it’s hard to get her to eat enough, but this is given me an option when she’s getting picky.

I tried this on a whim because I knew he liked brothy food
My 16-year-old cat suffered renal failure (one kidney only, the other one still works) and lost his appetite. He got dehydrated and really sick very quickly. I took him to the vet and she thought he was not long for this world. But she gave him subcutaneous fluids and an appetite stimulant, and told me he could do well again (aside from the muscle wasting in his haunches) if I could get him to eat. I tried this on a whim because I knew he liked brothy food, and he loved it! He started eating like a horse, long after the appetite stimulant was history. He has maintained a healthy appetite, drinks plenty of water as well, and seems like a healthy cat again. He does have significantly reduced strength in his haunches due to the existing muscle loss, but he manages to get around very well anyway. This food has been a godsend for me. I supplement it with some expensive poached salmon and roasted chicken from Petsmart, but he by far prefers the Senior Lickables. At this point I will give him anything he wants to eat, but the bonus is that this food has extra supplements for older cats. It's not pure, organic, packaged by angels, but it's been great for my older cat so far. ** UPDATE: July 2, 2016 -- My beloved Mister Big lived a good long time after I wrote this and continued to enjoy eating this food even when he was at the end of his life. He licked up some of this food on his very last day, before he passed peacefully. Most cats will not eat when they are that sick, but Mister Big loved this food and would even lick the juice off of my fingers. I am very grateful for the pleasure it brought him, all the way to the very end of his life. Also, I thank all of you who have left such wonderfully supportive comments for me. It has meant a lot.

My cats love and appreciate this treat better than anything I've ever given them.
My cats have been spoiled. Once I started giving this to my two cats as a treat, they've become quite vocal and demanding. They recognize the package and end up underfoot and loud until it's opened and set down in front of them. Although it sounds like I'm complaining, I'm not. I love to see them express themselves to us and let us know how much they like and appreciate it. It's now one of the items on my list of subscribed items.

A Tasty Triumph with a Hint of Picky Eater
Rating: 4/5 In the realm of cat treats, the Hartz Delectables Stew Senior Lickable Wet Cat Treats in Chicken and Tuna Stew emerges as a tantalizing option, catering to the discerning tastes of my CKD-afflicted feline friend. Quality and Nutrition: Rating: 4/5 This specific variety, a blend of chicken and tuna in a stew texture, not only tantalizes the taste buds but also aligns well with the nutritional considerations for cats dealing with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). The moderate phosphorous levels and the thoughtful combination of flavors make it a commendable choice for senior cats managing specific health concerns. Taste and Tolerance: Rating: 4.5/5 My CKD cat, who often exhibits a discerning palate, wholeheartedly approved of the Chicken and Tuna Stew. The gravy was the true hero. However the shreds in the gravy didn't receive the same level of enthusiasm. While the gravy triumphed, the shreds fell a bit short in winning my cat's heart. Price Consideration: Rating: 3/5 As with the overall product, the price tag remains a consideration. The effectiveness of coaxing my picky eater into enjoying her treats, especially with CKD-friendly nutritional elements, mitigates the cost concern to some extent. However, the serving size feels a bit small for the price. It's understandable for cat treats to come in small portions, but a tad more generosity in quantity would be appreciated. Packaging Predicament: Rating: 2/5 The sustainability caveat with the single-use plastic pouch persists. While the size is convenient and the contents tempting, a more eco-friendly approach to packaging would elevate the product. In Summation: The Hartz Delectables Stew Senior Lickable Wet Cat Treats in Chicken and Tuna Stew is a tasty triumph, especially for cats with discerning tastes and specific health concerns like CKD. However, the small serving size for the price remains a minor drawback, recognizing the typical challenge with cat treat portions.

Cat Approved Long Term (she’s been eating it for 5 years)
If you ever had any questions on which wet cat food to purchase, stop questioning and let them try this! Squid (that’s her name) has been eating this brand every night for 5 years. She is only 7 but I been giving her the seniors 10+ or 15+ version since 2020 (because of the food shortage back than and this was all that was available) I noticed an almost instant change in her skin and fur which I was assume it is due to the vitamin E. (Added some photos to show her shiny coat) She is obsessed with it, the second she sees me pull out the pack she meows with excitement. She has a preference now for the seniors haha! The smell is bearable compared to all other wet cat foods which is another plus. I really like the new packaging it makes emptying it out easier. It is pricier compared to other wet cat foods but it is worth every penny. I haven’t noticed anything negative, for example she hasn’t thrown up from it. If you care about your cats health i would, without a doubt, consider purchasing this for them. I do wish that the chicken chunks were a bit smaller because she laps up the goo and leave the few larger chunks behind, but that is probably the only thing I could complain about and that is not a big deal at all. Perfect for your picky eaters!

Makes my cat happy.
My cat loves this stuff. I think it’s a little expensive but that’s the way it is when you have a cat that loves it.
