Can you mount it on a ceiling fan?

Not recommended, this hanger is generally suitable for projectors, the maximum load is 5KG

If the projector screw is on the bottom of the unit will it project correctly if hung upside down?

Yes as long as your projector has the feature to flip the screen. Most projectors have it on the SETTINGS menu.

The description says tray swivels. Are they talking rotating horizontally, or does the tray actually swivel side to side to change projector angle?

I purchased it because it says the tree swivels. This is not true at all. You twist the train to assemble it, so you can in theory twist it back-and-forth if you need to pointed in the opposite direction that you screwed it on. It’s a great stand, but that feature is very deceiving.

Two options are available, handle and turned. What’s the difference?

There is no difference, only the way of fixing is different, one is the turning head and the other is the handle.

adjustments are easy, works perfectly, stable, holds a projector so it would hold other things like phones. Design is simple but effective. No issues so far that were not child-induced lol Just in case no one says this, drill the hole, add the anchor, screw into the anchor. If not driven into joist, the ceiling may not like the weight of the things that you are attaching.

This projector mount is a very good solution for mounting stationary video cameras in a Church Sanctuary. Mounts easily in any position and is sturdy enough to be vibration free. Camera locking nut is tight and secure. Video and power slots are a nice feature and makes for a professional installation. Highly Recommend, especially with the reasonable price. Thanks for a well-built product.
