Subtle flavour
A subtle smokey flavour with just the right level of nippyness. Better than the usual small chillies that are hot but with no taste.

Lovely
These Kashmiri chillis arrived in a sealed ziploc-type polythene bag that ensures their freshness: soft, not dried to a crisp like so many of these chillis disappointingly are. Packing them this way shows care by the seller, which is reassuring. The chillis' flavour is fragrant and hot, but not as fiery hot as those Bangladeshi chillis. Kashmiri chillis are rich in Vitamin C, also iron, potassium, copper, manganese, and magnesium and is a good source of antioxidants. This variant of chilli gives good heat to your Indian cuisine, hot in the mouth, but not setting fire one's throat!Altogether a delicious spice from the Kashmir region of India. And I think even 25g is very good value indeed, especially if you have a small cupboard, and you can always come back and buy more.

Not hot.
If you looking for heat, do not buy these dried chillies. They taste like sundried tomatoes.
