Must-have for anyone working with children who have EAL
This highly-informative book has enabled me to improve my practice with children who have English as an Additional Language. Practical advice and dynamic ideas, combined with excellent references to academic background research, help anyone to include not just children with EAL but all children. A 'Bible' to improve practice! Well done, Pauline Gibbons!!

Nice try, but little effort
I am not sure how impactful this book is in Australia, but as a future educator in the U.S., this book does not encompass all the aspects of being an EL teacher.Gibbons was extremely repetitive and I felt her ideas were disorganized. It was as if she was lazy and tried to fill pages with her explanations. I understand that some of the ideas overlapped in certain chapters, but the way she reincorporates the information in the following chapters is just plain lazy. Her research is outdated.Overall, do not waste your time.

Didn't last 30 days...
After less than 30 days of normal use and only one recharge, the headphones will no longer turn on or charge when properly plugged into a charger. I returned them, but I am bummed because these kinds of cheap products seem like such a waste of resources.
