    Perfect leaf protector

It’s durable and large enough to cover the top and sides so leaves can’t blow in. We’ve raised our net on poles in the last couple of years and it makes such a difference. We get so many leaves that fall, sometimes in one night or during heavy rains or snow, that a shallow cover would push the wetness into the pond and there it would sit until someone fished it out. Raising it a few feet off the ground gives the plants room, and prevents the heavy fall of leaves to sink. This net does the trick. It’s our second one, first one lasted about 5 years and would have lasted longer if it weren’t for us using staples and zip ties to pull the sides down, and then creating new ones in the following years… and removing annually carelessly. We created holes that eventually were big enough for leaves to fall through. Which is another thing that makes this net so great, it keeps all the big stuff out and most of the little stuff too. We get helicopters that will fall in the Spring, and this net is tight enough to keep them from flooding the water and filter. Excellent choice for pond needs.
