can you use it for a shower handle

I'm sure you could. If you cleaned the shower handle real good with rubbing alcohol prior to adhering it. Just know this; this comes in a sheet sorta like paper, about half the size of a sheet of notebook paper. So not a lot of it. So coverage is small for small applications like pistol grips. The back is extremely sticky so I assume you could use it for many other applications other than its intended one. It's designed to be measured and cut, then heated with a hairdryer to cause it to adhere, become sticky and shrink into place. Hope I've helped answer your question.

It's rubber. And I would also add that this would be absolutely perfect for a tablet cover or anything else that may possibly need a little extra grip. Hope this helps!

I don't think that would be a good idea. Unless you want to replace blades...
