ProBody Pilates Small Exercise Ball with Pump - 9 Inch Workout Ball for Stability, Barre, Yoga, Core & Physical Therapy

My physical therapist recommended that I get a pilates ball to help build my stamina, stability, and core muscles, and to increase mobility after a recent surgery. After looking through quite a few brands and styles, I got this one because it was exactly the size I was looking for, and had an air pump. The ball is very sturdy and is super easy to inflate with the included air pump. (As an FYI, the ball hasn’t lost air since I first inflated it.) I am a beginner as far as using a pilates ball, but it is easy to learn proper fitness routines and placement because the ball makes learning exercises so easy. I am so happy that I got this one because it is easy to use, slip resistant, and makes doing physical therapy just a little more fun. I have been able to make some gains by incorporating this ball into my daily workouts so thank you Pro Body, for helping me to get my body back.

I have physical therapy exercises that required holding a pillow or a ball between my knees. I tried a pillow. Did not work well. I went looking for a small ball. This one is great for my exercises. It has a surface that is not slippery so it stays in place. The material is thick so it is not going pop. I can inflate it with the tool that comes with it. At 73 I really don't want to use a straw to inflate it. It has not lost air since I inflated it when I received it. I would definitely buy it again but can't see that I will need to unless I go to a larger size.

Very nice, comfortable ball to use. I love it! Works for me during exercise and stretching.

Good ball for pilates.

We had been using this ball for about two months, and recently we left it on top of a wooden piece of furniture for about a week. When I went to clean up and tried to move the ball, I found that it was actually stuck to the surface and wouldn’t come off easily. It turned out that some kind of chemical from the ball had leached out, melted the finish on the furniture, and created a sticky mess that glued the ball to the surface. When I carefully removed the ball and tried to clean off the sticky residue, not only did it not come off easily, but the coating on the furniture ended up being completely stripped away. It’s shocking that this happened just from leaving the ball on the furniture — there was no extreme heat or direct sunlight involved — and yet the surface was ruined. The cost to repair the furniture has been estimated at several thousand dollars. Amazon helped me return this product even though it was past the return window. But because this product has a serious issue and I truly hope no one else experiences the same damage, I decided to leave this review.
