Amazing Kit For Junior Explorers
This is a great little kit- you get a real compass with activities in navigation, and parts to build your own compass- a good skill to know for, um, Jeopardy! maybe?There are ropes to practice tying knots, ropes to practice splicing, ropes to practice whipping the ends to stop fraying- all the stuff you need to learn how to use rope.It also comes with molds and plaster mix to create casts of animal tracks...so you can create a bunch of tracks in the yard and then your kids can make casts and practice tracking. Good times, and skills that are valuable for anyone spending time in the Great Outdoors.
