Provo Craft Silent Setter Hammerless Eyelet Tool Set

It arrived on time. I wanted this to make Traveler's Notebook covers. I have made two so far. This does not punch through leather, but that's not a claim that was made. I used it once the hole was punched to set the eylette. This set had the right sized eylettes for the micro TNs I want to make. I will use this when I begin to make laminated paper TNs. This is a great product for paper projects, but the eyellet setter will work on other items such as leather.

This item is a terrific tool for scrapbook and card making projects. It's simple to use, especially for this grandma with weak wrists and fingers. And giving one the choice of three different eyelet sizes is an extra plus. So glad I found it on Amazon as none of my local craft stores carry it any more.

Works as described. It's quiet and the pieces are easy to change out.You get better holes not using the pad.

This is a fantastic set! You can punch the holes and set eyelets quickly and quietly. I didn’t know that this could be done without making a sound but it did! Super easy and super quick. I did extensive reviews on eyelet setters and this one made the most sense. Has its own carry case, does multiple sizes, and I was even able to punch the holes in my Happy journal with out making mistakes. You can’t beat that. I recommend this product.

I make cards as a hobby. I had this item before but we moved and I could never find it. This item was so helpful to me so I just needed to get another one just like it. Amazon was the only place I could find it at a reasonable price. I especially like that it's in its own organized bag. So neat and tidy.

Another crafter has this and wouldn't let me keep hers, so I ordered my own :). This is perfect to eyelet in the center of pages. VERY easy to use and compact, so it's not another heavy tool to carry.

Another product that I got disappointed. The items look like is been use , the zipper broke when I try to close it. Is not information about the size of the eyelets. Know I am stock with a product the cost to much money and unable to close the bag to keep the peaces save and secure.

If you've used other systems to make grommet holes in paper, you know that it can be a BIG pain in the butt! Getting that hammer to smash it down just right is almost impossible! How many times have you thought of a great craft idea only to get frustrated because the grommets look like crap? Well, I've owned the Silent Setter for years (I lost it and had to replace it, and let me tell you, I really missed having it), and I swear by it. This system makes it almost impossible to make a bad grommet. Instead of using a hammer, the handheld device "rocks" around the grommet and gently pushes it down. I wouldn't live without it, and if you're a crafter, neither should you! Buy it!
