I'm super excited to do DIY nails, the kit seems promising, but my kit did not include nail clippers as advertised. Will update on the results later on.Update: It's been one week since I've done my first set of nails with this kit, and I must say, I'm quite impressed. I absolutely recommend this kit for anyone who wants a beautiful set of nails that is super easy to apply and will surely last for any occasion without having to overpay to get them done.In my personal experience, I have naturally oily nail beds, so any manicures I've had done or any paint/press-ons on my nails never last more than a day or two after normal wear and tear before chipping or popping off. With this kit, my first set of nails lasted one week before a nail popped off (and I was not easy on them, as in lots of water submersion, prying items, chores/cooking/cleaning, etc...). Also, absolutely no one guessed that my nails were done myself. So, all in all, this kit gives me the freedom/flexibility to have a fairly high durability set of nails without having to pay pricey nail salons and/or destroy my natural nails like professionally done acrylics.TLDR; If you're already thinking about buying this kit, just do it. Seriously. It costs less than a manicure session, and if you're like me, you just might have more color durability and better results than you normally would with a professionally done manicure. I rate 4/5 stars because as I mentioned earlier, there weren't nail clippers included with the kit as advertised; other than that (and using regular nail clippers worked just as well), everything worked as directed and exceeded my expectations.

These definitely have a learning curve but once you get used to them it’s great! They last super long (3weeks+) before my friend torn one off of her set, and mine have been on for the same amount of time and only one tiny little lift on my index finger near the cuticle so that was probably my fault. They are a lot stronger than I expected them to be, they file fast and are shaped so it’s really a time saver. No chipping, no breaking, relatively no damage, no problems. They soak off really fast. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve always loved having my nails done, there’s just something about having them done that makes you feel so pretty. But it gets so expensive! My nails grow out super fast so to keep up with them I’d have to go to the salon every 2 weeks! So I decided to get on here and order everything that’s needed for a good manicure at home. I spent only about $54 for everything & I made sure everything would arrive on the same day because I was so anxious to get started! First of all, the glue that comes with this kit, WOW, it is powerful! Make sure you cure it! I loved the nail clippers, and the little UV lamp is so cute and powerful. The nail extensions that come with this kit are so sturdy, which I loved. I ordered the Rosalind gel polishes and the beetles top coat, I also recommend ordering a nail dehydrator and primer that I used before putting on the nails, I recommend lightly filling your natural nails for the glue to get a good grip. My nails came out so nice, just how I wanted them. I need practice on shaping but I’m overall happy with my results! I can’t wait to keep using this!

It was easy to use and definitely worth the money, but I ended up buying a bigger lamp because this one is just too small otherwise great for everything that comes with it.

So I didn’t mine last night and they are already popping off. I’ll keep practicing, but I don’t think the “glue” is very strong. The kit itself it nice for beginners like myself. Really makes me wanna get good at it. Hopefully I’m just doing it wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️

I usually don’t write reviews for stuff but I had to for this gel-x set! I’m so glad I ordered this as it’s easy to use and lasts weeks! Before I ordered this I used press-on nails, but press-ons are so flimsy they bend and break and they don’t last me longer than a week. The nails on this kit are sturdy and don’t bend and I’m not easy on them! If you’re considering this kit get it!!
