Great polish when used with Essie gel base and gel top coat. Lasts a good 6 days.

This nail polish is amazing! It lays a long time. I had it on for around a week and a half before I peeled it off (nervous habit). It looks great and it dries really fast! Two coats of the color and one of the top coat, which is definitely recommended. I don’t know how long it lasts without it but it definitely looks better

Another great shade of Essie Gel Couture - Gala-vanting is a dark shade of red and my choice for the fall/holidays. With definite red undertones, looks nice against my paler skin tone. On me, lasts approximately one week longer compared to "regular" Essie nail polish (which lasts only a few days on me), which for me translates to approximately 10-14 days (with minor chips) when used with the Gel Couture top coat. Prefer to traditional "gel" as I can do myself at home or touch up; also bring with me to the salon (since they don't have this shade but also that way they don't charge me the upcharge for this long-lasting polish).

I really like this polish. If your looking for it to last like gel, it doesn’t, but it last me a couple of weeks before I needed to either retouch or take off. To me it’s worth it for the much healthier nails I have now. Definitely recommend.

I don't typically do manicures because I can't, for the life of me, keep the polish chip-free and pristine; the last time I got a manicure, it was ruined by the time I got to the car. My sisters love essie, so when I got this we all did our nails together. We all agreed that the polish was rather thin - it took a couple coats before the color and coverage were where we wanted. After a couple minutes, we applied to top coat, and after drying our nails were shiny and beautiful! Gala-vanting is a deep burgundy red, flattering on all our fingers. After about two days, the polish chipped. I have a very hands-on job - rarely are my hands sitting idle when I'm on the clock - so I was disappointed. I have had a gel polish before which lasted three weeks. Of course, an at home polish job isn't a true comparison, but this didn't last as long as a gel manicure and didn't last any longer than a regular manicure. I alone would give this three stars; however, my sisters give it a higher rating as theirs as remained relatively pristine. They don't do as much hands-on work as I do, so that likely helped them keep their manicure.

This is my favorite nail polish, it lasts much longer than any others I have ever tried. I can definitely wear it on my toenails for two solid weeks. It is a true red, and I love it.

I absolutely love this nail polish when applied along with the top coat. It's shiny, dries quickly, and lasts a long time. I would just caution buyers to look at other sources for true color samples because the samples here in this listing (See It On) are way off. The bottle for this polish is so nice! Feels luxury and is perfect for a girls night in. I feel like its something I could be proud to leave out on my vanity. Very very nice. The polish itself is awesome. I have used many high end (sephora type brands) polishes and this definitely competes. The application was perfect, the texture is just right not too thick, not too runny - no clotting. It was by far one of the easies to apply polishes. I am not generally that great at doing my nails but something about this nail polish made it easier! Its a good size bottle overall. Very little opaqueness - one coat was full coverage, two coats was perfect. The smell was pretty standard to nail polishes. I love this color, very classic. This doesn't feel like a gel polish on but it definitely is a lasting texture that doesn't chip easily. I am on day 4 and it is standing up to the test of time. Overall great value for money, highly recommend!

I have purchased three bottles now The colour is beautiful and I’m very happy Doesn’t last for my finger nails as long as My toes but, last much longer then normal polish

Beautiful colour. Only needs two coats for dark colour that lasts a week when used with the gel couture top coat

No longevity on nail polish wear.. very disappointing. Applied two coats of gel colour and gel top coat.. chipped in 1-2 days after cleaning washing dishes etc. Not worth $12 and not as advertised

Nail polish bottle exploded in the box. Whole bottle leaked over everything and the polish was completely wasted.
