Excellent Jigsaw
So far I've only used it on a few projects but I like it. It's a bit heavy with that battery installed, but the high speed of the blade makes up for it. I bought this to replace a corded DeWalt that just wasn't cutting it for my needs as a pro. I'm very happy with this one as I feel it gives me great performance and accuracy in my cuts. A bit pricey compared to other jigsaws but you get what you pay for. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic saw, but where is the cj36db barrel grip?
This is a great D handle jigsaw cj36da, power is there cuts great ergonomics are on point the blade removal is ez so not too much to complain about here but I just don’t know why the barrel grip jigsaw model CJ36DB has never been released in the United States yet. It’s a bit frustrating and makes it really difficult to grow a following r fan base when a company is as disjointed as Metabo HPT/ Hikoki are… you never know what tools you’re going to get in what country then if you’re a real fan, you have to pay the fees to import them from Japan oh, and don’t forget about the six months you have to wait on it to be shipped over and re released in a different country because it needs to be branded Metabo HPT… having two different names for one brand of tools is the dumbest thing I have ever seen just ask Aeg/Ridgid

Metabo-Hpt 36V Jigsaw - Good, but not great.
Has enough power. I'm glad they added anled and dust blower to this model. However the dust blower does not have an on/off switch, it is always on. Also the shoe angle has to be adjusted with an allen wrench. I would have expected a jig saw in this price range to use a built in lever.On the plus side it has plenty of power, maybe 10-15 % faster cutting 4 x 4 than my Kobalt 24 volt jig saw.

Metabo HPT 36v Jigsaw
I am a fan af many great tools, no metter the manufacturer. In this case, at this time I really appreciate a very well built, powerful and accurate jigsaw by Metabo HPT. Where Milwaukee, Dewalt and all But Makita have failed in their newest offerings, Metabo hpt did great. Excellent cutting speed, smooth, accurate and fixed adjustments at 45 degrees, and adjustable speed control for scrolling, a long on button, a two finger trigger!! Great tool.

Top of the line.
The link I purchased is gone so it won't come up as verified.The power of this tool rivals other company's top tier sawzalls.I never knew I needed a jigsaw that'll cut a house down until I got this thing.Everything else about it is fine but holy crap the power...I prefer a D handle Jigsaw so I don't care that it's not a barrel grip.
