A classic.
My old one broke and needed to be replaced. Tried a plastic one but found it too flimsy and difficult to handle when full. This is so much better. Should have bought this in the first place. Sturdy and accurate. Will last for a long time

Good solid Pyrex product
I do a lot of cooking and this larger size measuring cup serves both as a measurement device and also a mixing bowl. I have my favorite go-to stainless steel mixing bowl, but there are many times when I need a second bowl. The convenience of this measuring cup is that it serves multi-purposes. The markings are clear and easy to read and it's dishwasher safe. My one concern was it was too big for my cupboard, but i found room and i store my smaller Pyrex measuring cups inside it, so it's a space saver.I first learned of this size cup from a popular Instant Pot cooking website, and I'm glad I bought it. So for measuring liquids or mixing ingredients, I recommend other amateur (or serious) chefs consider buying one as well.

Versatile
I use this at home as intended, as a small mixing bowl, and as a microwave safe container that doesn't melt and is easy to clean. At work, which was for which this one was purchased, we use it to observe petroleum samples, as a liquid container for small repairs and to add measured quantities of additive to our tanks when our system goes down. The Sulphur in the petroleum doesn't stick to the glass making it easy to clean up and return to storage. It is non-conductive and is chemically resistant. And it is far sturdier and cheaper than a comparable glass breaker. It will last a long time unless you drop it on a cement pad .

My life got a whole lot easier with this measuring cup
I never thought I had the storage space for a big measuring cup like this. I was at a friend’s house helping with a big dinner, and she had this measuring cup. I used it, and fell in love. I bought one of my own, and it doesn’t take up much storage space. It does, however, make measuring large quantities and adding them to recipes so much easier. Best gift I’ve given myself in a long time. The measurements are accurate and easy to read on the side of the glass. Another great product from Pyrex!

Works great!
Works great! Very easy to read and clean. Seems very sturdy. Can recommend. Our only complaint would pertain to the packaging done on the first one we ordered. Arrived very broken without required protection for shipping glass. Got a refund though (they couldn’t replace at the time so we had to reorder). I did chat with Amazon associate so we didn’t have to ship back the broken one. It was a safety hazard and didn’t want to make UPS have to handle it, not to mention whoever unpacked it. Also seemed like a waste of money for shipping it back when it would just be thrown out anyway.

Mostly great but drools if not pouring slowly
My 1980's one-cup Pyrex glass measuring cup is one of my most useful kitchen tools so I finally purchased this Pyrex 4-cupper. It's sturdy, the measurements are easy to read and you can measure hot liquids with it. My main disappointment is that you must pour out your 4-cup volume of liquid very slowly. The design of the pouring lip is quite narrow so if you pour too fast the liquid will leak and drool out all over the counter. This is my first time owning a large measuring cup so maybe this is something familiar to most users. I'm sure I'll get used to it, I was just a bit surprised at this design element.
