Zatarain'sWhite Bean Seasoning, 2.4 oz (Pack of 12)

I was born in New Orleans and raised by southern parents & grandparents (we lived in the same house). My grandmother was the quintessential southern cook, with all the good stuff like peppers and spices. While visiting New Orleans, we went to a restaurant and the butter beans smelled so good I decided to try them. Well to say they were great was an understatement. I wanted to make them, but I didn't know where to begin. I saw this box of "white bean" seasoning in the store & picked it up w/a bag of butter beans. It was terrific. When I got back to PA, I found this same seasoning online & was thrilled. It is fantastic and the taste is just like my Maw Maw's lima beans.

I’ve used this product for years!!Excellent addition to Great Northern Beans!!Once you try it you will be hooked. The flavor is very good. Perfect combination of seasonings. Will definitely please the palate!!$$$$$ but worth every penny!!

I love the seasoning!! Since COVID I'VE NOT FOUND IT IN STORES!! Taste is great!! Back to my lima and navy beans for winter months!! Now I HAVE FOUND SOMEWHERE TO GET IT...It arrived quickly.

Has great flavor

We've used this product for years while living in Louisiana. So glad I found this site on Amazon. Bought 12 boxes and shared with a friend (also from Louisiana). It's delicious every time. And Louisiana approved :)

I am from Louisiana and I moved to GA because my husband is military. I could not find this product anywhere in GA, so I decided to buy it through Amazon. This is the only brand that makes such good rice and beans. I also love the red beans and rice mix. It tastes just how my mother makes her beans and rice. I add sausage, green chiles, onion, and other things (depending on my mood) and it turns out great!

I’m sure nothing beats the homemade version but this is easy for busy working moms. The package says to add the whole can of beans but I don’t like the taste of the canned beans juice, it tastes better for me when I add broth instead of the juice from the canned beans.

Rollin! I’m from New Orleans’ seventh ward and love creamy butter beans. I didn’t even have to use my own chopped seasoning, although I did add a little onion and bell pepper. My personal recipe - I also add a dash of Rosemary and stir in a whole stick of butter when beans are just about done.
