It works
I don’t know how but after 10 days almost all of my bryopsis is gone. I imagine by next weekend it will be 100% gone. My tank was terrible. I was pulling it out by fist fulls but still couldn’t even see the rocks. After one dose it had slowly disappeared

Works well but pricey
I see many people saying it doesnt work. Here is a progression pic of my recent treatment..2 weeks. Just follow instructions and be patient.Key thing is identifying what you are treating.. its for bryopsis.. anything else, it wont make a dent. If you dont know what bryopsis is, checkout threads on reef2reef.Its bit expensive if you have larger tanks. Totally reef safe.

Reef flux really works on hair algae!!!
Reef flux completely cleared my 220 gallon marine aquarium of over grown hair algae. I have had marine aquariums for 40 years and I have never had better results than this. Follow the directions and the stuff works.

Say goodbye to green hair algae in 3.2.1...
I crafted a 'floating shelf' for my reef tank out of plexiglass and CaribSea 'LifeRock FragZone" dried live rock pieces. The rock, despite being thoroughly cleaned, still caused a mini-cycle and spawned GHA. Given that there were already corals mounted to the rocks on the shelf and it had a pretty permanent spot in my aquascape, I was not interested in pulling it out and doing a scrub down other manual means of control of the GHA. So, based on reviews and comments on reef boards, I tried the Reef Flux. Per the instructions I turned my skimmer off, dissolved the correct dosage (single dose), and poured it into the middle chamber of my sump. It was apparent that it was working after 24 hours, and within 3 days, the GHA completely disappeared. This is a fairly established reef whose live rock has been in one tank or another at my house for about 5 years now. It has long since 'hardened' regarding the nitrogen and algae cycles. Nutrient export had long since been balanced with no signs of any of the undesirable algae or cyanobacteria. It wasn't until I added the newer, dry rock that the problem crept in. 20 years of keeping reef tanks and experience with all the ugly phases a tank will go through before achieving a solid balance and I've never had a better experience getting rid of nuisance algae.I would buy this again in a heartbeat if I ever had to and will happily recommend it to any reefer having issues with GHA. Viva Reef Flux!

Some times you just have to do it
For ridding a tank of green slime algae, which can quickly over come a tank and any non sessile inverts, this stuff works. It takes about five to seven days to reverse the growth, maybe up to two weeks for it all to disappear, but it seems to work without harming the other critters in the tank. It is expensive, you have to take out the carbon in your filters, and strongly recommend turning off the protein skimmer no matter what the manufacturer says, because it will, quickly and without warning, bubble up and over in a mountainous stream of foam and salt water all over your floor. Do not try to restart this skimmer till you have done at least one 30% water change, or you will be frustrated repeatedly until you do. Also, once every two months it is worth it to mini dose the tank without removing carbon with no more than a one third dose, which will keep that nasty slime at bay.

Double dose if you want real results
Been using this and another branded product to try and stay ahead of my bryopsis. Have dosed numerous times. The only thing I think really works is if you nuke it with a double dose (at least).

NO MORE GHA!
Very simple to use however, I had to break the capsules apart because they did not fully dissolve. Worked wonders for my 100 G mixed reef tank. Green Hair Algae was completely gone in three weeks. Just follow the instructions. I had my skimmer off for the first week.

Unimpressed
This didn't work for me. Do yourself a favor and get something to reduce your phosphates. Also get some algae killer instead of dosing your tank with hydrogen peroxide. My gha is finally disappearing from my tank. This did nothing to help.
