ZYMOX Topical Spray With .5% Hydrocortisone

It’s works! It’s immediate and stays non-itchy once you spray the skin directly where it’s itchy. It’s lasts about a day. So I just use a light hydrogen peroxide of half with water to dab his itchy spots and dry and spray with the zymox and it does the job. If done a few days until it’s almost healed completely then it is great longer lasting and less chance of sores again. I then shampoo every month with moisturizing shampoo and he’s so much better and when allergy season is full out I wipe him down as he comes in.

I have a shih tzu eho endures hot spots year round. Every year or so though they seem to change to a new area. Right now his arm pits and paws are driving him crazy. He had lost all his fur in his arm pits and his paws were so pink. I had tried giving him antibiotics a few different times and wiping them but all the meds did was make him sick and he only had slight relief for a few days. After reading reviews I gave this a try and it has been a miracle. His hair has grown back and as long as I keep up with spraying, he can go for such a long time without dealing with the hot spots. I'm so glad this has worked, and it has saved me a few hundred bucks at the vet!If your pet is having similar problems, try this...it's better than a big vet bill. However, I would still highly suggest a vet if this isn't working.

A little expensive but it works

I have a dog that licked her paws what seems like constantly. I have tried so many products that didn't do a thing. My daughter was on a business trip in Memphis when she went to a pet store for a treat to bring home for the dog. The sales associate saw her looking though different things for paw lickers and suggested Zymox. I sprayed her paws twice a day for a week, the licking diminished. The next week I only sprayed her paws when she started licking but not more than twice a day. It has been about 2 months and I rarely have to spray her paws anymore. I keep it on hand and will continue to keep it on hand for when spring arrives. If you have a dog that drives you nuts with paw licking, give this a try.

Another great product from this company. We used the ear product that alleviated this issue within a week and have not repeated its use for over two weeks. Used this product on her paws, that she was continually licking, for only a few days and the redness and irritation are gone and she is no longer licking and seems so much more comfortable in her daily life.

This spray was a godsend! My cat was chewing himself to bits. We brought him to the vet and thought it was fleas. We treated him and the vet gave him pills to help the itching and recovery. The vet also said if it persists it might be food allergies. Well it happened again and we changed his food, like the vet suggested, but using this spray, we didn't have to use the expensive steroids that we did before. I'm so happy he's back to his normal self.

I used this for black spot on my dog, it didn't work well at all. I think there are so many types of black spot causes that this was not useful for the type my dog had. I found a DIY home remedy that cleared up the problem. I simply picked the wrong med for the problem she had. I am keeping it just in case something appears that this can treat.
