Doesn't get any easier than this!
My deadbolt to the back door has been acting up for a couple of days now. Late last night it finally stopped working all together. I purchased this deadbolt set and had it delivered early this morning. It was inside my gate when I woke up. It took less than 10 minutes to remove both the old entry knob and deadbolt and replace them with the new knob and deadbolt. I'm a 62-year-old woman. Did it by myself and now I feel a whole lot safer. I highly recommend this set. Looks great, nice and sturdy, easy to install and a great price. Thank you!!!!!!

Typical KwikSet Lock Set
Now, Kwikset or any similar lock is not a fortress of security. Basically, they are there to keep honest people honest. This set works fine. Smooth operation. Like all Kwikset locks, they are super easy to install.

Good set
Bought this to replace the handle on my back door that broke. Very straight forward and what you’d expect from Kwikset. What I was disappointed about was the lack of the rekey feature that you usually get with kwikset locks so I was unable to match it to the rest of the locks in my house.

Easy installation
The installation of this set is incredibly easy. Be sure to read all of the instructions first - especially the instruction regarding NOT removing screws.

Keeps Coming Apart
The doorknob keeps falling apart. The screws are small enough to slip back through the screw holes. I've had to put it back together three times. Definitely need to replace it.
