I was looking for a large knife with a reasonable price to facilitate my cutting work while cooking.I used it now several times and I am very satisfied: it is really sharp, has a very agreeable weight & has a good grip. A very detailed care instructions are included with the knife (see picture), which will help to enjoy it for a long time. Conclusion: very good knife for a very good price.

Basic entry level beginners chef knife. I bought it for the cooks I work with, they love it compared to the Nella knives we have at our restaurant. It comes very sharp "out of the box" and they could not be happier. Sturdy and has a good quality heft feel to it. Not as light as I would it to be but for $10, I can't complain.As to the rust and tarnish people are experiencing, please read the manual that comes with it, you are expected to read and understand the product you are purchasing. In addition, don't expect this knife to hold its edge, buy a steel and hone it after several uses. It's only $10, if you're expecting higher quality cough up more than $100.

I have plenty of dull knives that simply will not chop through things like squash and rutabagas, so got this one. It was a lot easier with this knife, for sure. I'd never held a knife so big and dangerous, it's like a murder weapon. I'm terrified of cutting myself with this, as your fingers would come right off with one slip of this tool. The tip is razor sharp, it's a kitchen tool to be respected. be careful with it, but it works well. No need to buy a more expensive knife.

Working in a professional kitchen, I don't want to bring my expensive knives to work. Got this knife and it does the job well for chopping veggies or parting chicken. The hardness of the metal is high enough for the knife to be sharp yet not too high for it to be brittle. Good buy... just make sure you hone it regularly

I like it, its not that sharp but if you're used to dull knives like me then it's pretty good! I got it so I can learn to sharpen a knife with a whetstone, since it's not super strong metal it's great cause I sharpen regularly and see how I've improved :)Very good for its price would recommend for someone just starting to cook or sharpen so they can get used to doing their thing without fear of ruining a super expensive knife.
