It doesn't spread the tan well, you end up patchy and it's hard to blend. HOWEVER, what it is good for is being a second mitt to your main tanning mitt to buff over your hands, feet, knees and elbows. For example, as soon as I've done 1 arm, I buff immediately with this mitt over those areas - and it's perfect for that. Just not for the main tanning!
