Easily one of my favorite lotions, used the whole bottle in ab 6 months and my callous is already peeling off. Rather heavy so I use it as the last step of my nightly routine.

Let me start off my saying, I am a Kiehl’s superfan & have been for years now. I use a lot of their products as my go-to’s on the daily. I also have incredibly dry skin. Having said that, being a huge Kiehl’s superfan with terribly dry skin is ROUGH, because their dry skin products are soo good, they’re never in stock! I loved the crème d’elegance repairateur face cream tub but it’s been out of stock for like 2 years now! Same with this intensive treatment tube, it’s been hit or miss, so when I saw it available on Amazon, I just bought it even though it’s a little more pricey here, at least I knew I would get it quick. I’ve just checked the website & saw it IS available now, but I’m sure it won’t be for long, so I will keep this product in my cart to order again in the future. The cream comes out white and pasty, but once you rub it in, it’s so smooth & melts into your skin. I used this on my face- granted, I have very dry, unproblematic skin so I can use just about anything & not break out. If you have oily or problematic skin, or breakouts, I would steer clear of using this on your face, otherwise it’s basically the same as the face cream to me! This keeps my face nice & hydrated overnight & I’m so happy to have it again, I’m obsessed!! Lastly, the smell isn’t bad at all, like someone else mentioned, it’s kinda clay-esq but not strong at all. I’ve been using aquaphor at night so I’m happy I don’t have to because my hair ends up sticking to my face, but with this cream, I don’t have that problem. I use my Rx retinol, I spritz my face w/ thermal spring water, i lather up vitamin E oil or grape seed oil, then I apply this cream & it’s heavenly. If you also love the Kiehl’s dry skin crème d’elegance that’s always out of stock, buy this—I swear it feels like the same exact thing on my face!

This is a great product. I have the 8oz tub version of this product, which has been very long lasting. Yes, it is expensive, but it's also highly effective and doesn't take much. The lotion itself is very thick and smells a bit like clay. Rub a quarter size's worth into your hands and they soften up immediately. I get very dry hands and my skin will sometimes crack painfully between the fingers. It takes two or three passes with this moisturizer over the course of an hour and the cracks are on their way to gone and my skin softened. Gets in deep and leaves a bit of an oily residue but doesn't stain clothing.Have not tried this anywhere other than my hands so I can't comment on how it works as a body moisturizer.I got this tub as a reject from my girlfriend - she has sensitive skin and it did not react well. So you should know that if you have highly sensitive skin it may not be for you. Otherwise, it's great!
