Good value for your money
My household has 4 people with long hair, 3 of which are curly and thick, which quickly proved to be no Mach for our tub drain. No drain liquid would make a dent for more than a few days. I finally bought these about a month ago, after we had to have an inspection to renew our lease. I was so worried the tub wouldn’t drain if they tested it. The tub would drain super slowly, and it took forever! The thing was a bit difficult to maneuver but I was proceeding with caution as I read some people had them break in the drain and I definitely didn’t want that. A few inserts to the drain and BOOM, Chewbacca’s offspring was hanging on the little thing lolWorth the money

They work
Not the simplest to use in bathrooms that see a lot of very long hair, because they will collect so much drain gunk they become difficult to remove.

Long Hair Approved
Draino never works for us as it's my hair that clogs the drains. These are perfect to clean out the drain! Just be careful as the teeth are pointy

These didn’t do much for my drains. I got vet results with Liquid Plumber

Worked like a charm!
I was getting ready to take the pipes under the bathroom sink apart when my wife found these.Pulled the lever that controls the sealing piece and put this to work. And work it did!In five minutes I was able to clear out the obstruction, and another minute to reattach the drain lever.

Good, if used properly
The key step for clearing a bathtub drain is to remove the plate over the overflow drain, pull that plate (and the stopper that is attached to it) out, and then use the tool through the now-accessible overflow drain pipe. The tool naturally has a bend to it. Insert the tool so that the curve moves away from the tub. This allows the tool to move naturally into the curved trap where the clog is probably located. The mistake I initially made was try to use the tool through the normal tub drain. There was a non-removable X-shaped thing that made it impossible to get the tool more than a few inches into the pipes.(I'm not a plumber, so take this advice with a grain of salt)
