After that warm spell late last month, I knew it was time to think about Fans & Coolers for the house this summer; this portable air conditioner looked good, so I purchased it. This unit is actually a humidifier and fan combined, which immediately reduced the heat and humidity in the room.Now the weather is a cooler, the heating is on, usually low during the day; but it still makes the bedroom feels ever so humid at night. We had been able to open the windows at night last summer due to it being quieter than usual, but everywhere is getting back to normal, busier and noisier now, even at night. This quiet fan and water filled humidifier produces just enough vapour and breeze to cool us down without disturbing our sleep.The water tray is opened and filled at the back, then locked; timer switches are on top of the unit, ensuring it doesn't stay switched on all night; the 2 hour timer being just right, we found. A relaxing gentle breeze from the fan on the lowest setting at the moment, and the light mist, with a whisper of dripping water, is ever so relaxing, daytime or at night.It is lightweight, and provided the water tank is secure can be moved it around with ease. The fan can be used with or without the water vapour; if I was using in the kitchen, for instance, I would probably just use the fan, but on a high setting.I really like the fact that it is so quiet, and just love the sound of the water when nodding off in bed. There are vents on either side of the fan so I feel it is safe to use, even with inquisitive children or pets around. I stands steady on the floor or on the bedside unit, easy to operate, and carry around, when required. It can also produce a gentle light, something that would appeal to the grandchildren, I have no doubt.I'm really pleased with my purchase, it is a multi-use fan and humidifier, suitable for all rooms of the house; well maybe not the bathroom! It is a well built unit; freshens the air and reduces the humidity, just what I wanted; recommended.

I don’t understand how people can complain about this product saying that it doesn’t cool the room down. It’s not supposed too. It does state that in the description that it’s not for cooling a room down.This product works well with tap water, however, when you add ice or ice cold tap water, it doesn’t emit a mist when you put the humidifier setting on, which let’s it down. It only starts to emit the mist once the water starts to warm up. So it doesn’t cool you down as well as it says it does.The water tray at the back only opens a small amount too, so it’s awkward to get the water in or large ice cubes.I like the UV light addition which is different from others.

Ordered this yesterday thanks to the current heat and hayfever - I’m 5 months pregnant with twins and therefore fairly uncomfortable! Arrived promptly and I’ve spent all day in front of it, it’s super quiet (I can nap with it on for example), lovely and cooling without being too cold and very easy to move thanks to the handle. Have even ordered one for my parents as I’m so impressed with it! Only criticism is the drawer could pull out a little farther to make it easier to fill, but otherwise I have no complaints whatsoever 😊

Smaller than I thought it would be but nicely portable. In fact I put it in my suitcase when I went to visit family in London during a hot spell and I was so glad of it during the night. The fan alone is quite effective but with added cold water, the cooling vapour is lovely. Pleasant sound too, if you like the sound of trickling water. In hot weather I have it at the side of my desk and it gently cools me down. I’m pretty pleased with it!

With only 5 stars reviews I was confident that I made a good choice buying this item. After testing it now it raised the humidity level to 60% from 49 really quick so it does well at that .But unfortunately temperature wise is very very poor ! My room temp was 25 degrees Celsius and it dropped only to 24,8 in one hour ! It is cheap but wished payed more for a better product! Hope this helps !

The item is smaller than I expected BUT that doesn't stop it from being pretty damn powerful. The tank lasts for about 2 hours on full power. It's not very loud either which is good for sleep. The LED lights help with ambiance and is overall a good little cooler.

It is really compact and easy to store. It keeps us cool at night provided we aim it towards us. However it does not keep the entire room cool. The humidifier is good just cumbersome to have to refill it every 4 hours. Overall 4/5

I have only given 4 stars because the water fill drawer only opens about an inch! Which makes it awkward to fill and is too small for some iceblocks!Apart from that it cools really well on those heatwave day's, thank you.
