Proxima Dying: Proxima, Book 2

Pointless and annoying
The characters and indeed the story have become pointless. It and they meander, making little sense, making strange stupid decisions. The book often reads like the internal monologue of a slightly dim child, not enjoyable at all.

Still reading this and very rapidly losing interest will not waste my time on the 3rd book.

Marchenco!
The Proxima series are a modern classic - simply brilliant - and probably possible now or very soon - a way of travelling and seeding planets for humans - if we cannot travel FTL or find wormholes- 6**!

Excellent in many ways
... but annoying in others. The characters are increasingly making silly decisions. Walking across an ice sheet - why would you do that when you have a ship capable of going under or indeed through it? Still, good reading and good sci fi.

A little disappointing.
Slower than "Rising" with events and actions that seem to be too long. However, imagination still fertilises the story and drags back the reader. Chapters are short. But I still liked it enough to anticipate the next!
