Supportive but not like a ski boot.

I have purchased many different ankle brace and this is super comfortable and it is also easy to wear.

I really love these. I even wear them at work (construction) for extra support while standing all day. But… depending on which shoe I’m wearing they make my foot slide around in my shoe. I’ve noticed it mainly with Vans. Don’t have that issue when wearing my Five Ten mountain bike shoes though.

I used it 2 or 3 times a week for walks on the beach. I am in my 60s with weak ankles that are prone to roll. This works well, gives enough stabilizing and support, and they are very adjustable. Overall I am very pleased, it keeps me moving without injury.

I have very large feet so I bought the Large size as per the sizing chart. The straps that wrap down around the foot and back up the ankle were too long, leaving 2-3" excess above the top, and with only 1/2-1" of velcro attaching it. I guess my feet and ankles are too narrow for the Large size so I purchased a Medium and that fixed the sizing issue. There's still about an inch of excess strap at the top, I would try a Small but I'm already at the limit with fitting it over my heel. So take into account the girth of your foot and ankles when choosing the size.The fast lacing is great, that was the main selling point for me. The fit is snug and comfortable, and very easy to adjust. Feels supportive without being restrictive.

I wear a 10.5 US shoe and I ordered the 10-12 size. The build quality is excellent. They look as though they would last. As for my ankle i can't say the same thing. The supports they slide into the sides are pretty bendy and don't keep my ankle supported much. I can't seem to pull the straps tight enough because the straps are too long and the velcrow won't line up. The laces seem too long as well. Maybe if I ordered one size smaller then my ankle would be supported, but I'm not sure how the whole sleeve would have fit on my foot. When you first put them on they feel great, supportive and you can forget they are there. Over time it gets too comfortable as the material stretches out and it feels like my ankle is moving to the max as if I wasn't wearing a brace. Perhaps order a whole size smaller if you wan't to try these. They are a good brace, it's just that my ankle got hurt today a couple months after skating with these and the whole point of the brace is to not get hurt or at least minimize the injury. If it wasn't just a weird primo ankle roll then it probably would have sucked much worse.

My ankles aren't the most stable with the past injuries I've had to them. These have helped tremendously in DH and DJ! They look bulky but they aren't!

Great product, others are alike but this one is tweaked enough to make it comfortable and feels solid as well. Bmx must have.
