Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a nicely manufactured product. I am impressed by the build quality. I am using it to corral a parent with dementia (she is very petite) to keep her on one side of the room so I can keep an eye on her but work on the other. She would not be pushing to get out, so I am not saying it would be good for physically restraining an adult. Easy to install. Locking mechanisms are smooth and cleverly designed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It looked sturdy as my 65 pound pit bulls had already broken a wooden one. Also it fit the space between kitchen and living room and not a lot of the gates would fit . The price was good and there wasn’t much comparable at that size to choose from so it seemed like the logical choice .Not disappointed. It should last for years to come I hope.

Great (permanent) addition to keep my toddler out of the dishwasher and from underfoot in the kitchen. Installation was mildly challenging due to opening size vs. gate size and design. Very sturdy. He shakes the heck out of it from either side and has even attempted to climb it, yet there has been no damage at all.

It has been 2 years since I purchased 3 sets of these gates after trying other types and brands.If you're in the market for a baby gate or pet gate, this is the one that you should go with. It will last, it is strong, and since it uses gate panels it is easily configurable.The only thing to note is that this must be screwed to the wall. The holes are easy to fill so even if you're renting, I still recommend this gate over the ones that pressure fit against the walls.Our twins are now 4 and this gate still protects the off limits zones in the house and it has worked great to keep our dog out of areas when we have company or using the vacuum.

Easy to install. Looks nice and my toddler can’t get past it like he could with the retractable gates.The only critique is that it should have come with wall anchors. My son pulled it out of the wall and we had to reinstall.

Great gate , but my 1 year old very easily figured out how to open it

Thos gate is super easy to install and does its job of keeping the dogs out of the kitchen. Sturdy also our kids have hung all over it and it's stayed in place without breaking.
