Surprisingly strong!!!
I bought this for my fishing net and I am so happy with how strong the magnet is. They're not so strong you can't pull them away with one hand, but they hold amazingly no matter what you are traversing through. If you have something you are constantly clipping for this is great. It one time stuck to the tip of my handle and I thought it reconnected, but the magnet is so strong it kept my net in place by its handle tip!

Alternative use approved. I got this for my Mom so she doesn’t lay down and forget her keys somewhere (happens more often than not). She puts the Carabiner around her purse handle and keys on other end. Works so well.
