Medela PersonalFit Breastshields (Small)

It's pretty stupid that this Medela gives the option of sizes in breast shields. Oviously if you have a smaller breast chances are you have a smaller nipple!!! But I guess Medela doesn't expect that or doesn't care!The instruction manual made it seem as if you need a a different size if your nipple is smaller but it's a total rip off because all sizes are the same! The only difference is the circumference of the outside circle not the one where the nipple goes in.

So I had terrible pain from bfing and pumping at first. I ordered these against my lactation consultants recommendation and I am so glad I dd. My nipples are regular sized but my teets (haha sorry for the odd term) are small. These don't suck my entire nipple in like the size mediums. Still use daily after 5 months with no problems. Hooray!

Doesn't seem to be like an actual "medela" product. VERY short tubes and doesn't fit the pump perfectly.

I didn't get much milk extraction with the 24 mm breastshield. My nipples are small. I can extract much more milk now.

Product fits with the Medela manual handheld pump. I got this handheld manuel pump while I was in the hospital, and it came with the medium size flange.

These did the job, did not need an adapter for the pump in style. Smaller shields seem to help me pump a lot faster.
