For the price, this meter is a great value. It is not precision, but that is not what you are paying for. It's easy to read. It is not back lit, but has nice large display. It is able to accurately test the water in my area within 5-10ppm.

Bought this as part of my kit to test potential customer's water. This works very well showing the hardness in the water. It's easy to use and read results. You can push a button and it saves the reading, so it doesn't go away when you take it out of the water. Nice piece of equipment for water testing

Seems to work. I use filtered water & need to know when the filter needs to be replaced.

From what I've read, this TDS meter is designed in the US and Korea, and assembled in India, and comes factory calibrated by a precise salt water solution.I assume it yields more accurate results than the random TDS meters made carelessly in obscure Chinese factories.Reads much higher than the one I got with my Culligan water filter. I like the look and build quality. The included protective case is nice, too.For around $16, it's pricier than the no-name ones, but this should last longer, and it is used by professional water company people.Good enough for them, good enough for me.

Very nice TDS meter. Easy to use and I believe it is accurate. I will do a calibration later. But, there is always an "it would be nice". That being said, it would be nice if it had a backlit screen. Otherwise, perfect.
