First the diagram instructions for this assembly toy project were a bit challenging to follow at times. Basically you really had to study the pictures in order to see what piece to screw in. I appreciate the illustrations and the "key box" that showed which pieces/screws you needed for each build section but it seems like the entire project could have been broken down into more steps. The screws were extremely hard to tighten and as you built the car they often would come loose so that you had to go back and tighten them. Tighten some too much and their placement would be out of alignment. In addition, the order of assembly made this project frustrating because there were small spaces my fat adult fingers couldn't fit under the hood to tighten a bolt.I started this with my 9 yo daughter who loves to build but ultimately she became uninterested in it because of the complicated diagrams for seemingly easy stages of assembly, so I took over and couldn't wait to be done - my hands hurt so bad!I think this is still a fun concept in building but I much prefer Legos Creator or Technic. Admittedly I am probably not the right audience for this toy but I rate it below average.
