Should I begin with the way it's built like a mini Fort Knox, with 4 ways to get into it? Oh, I know what some of you're thinking: It's a little tabletop safe, they'll just take it. Yeah, good luck with that; unless they can figure out how to get my entire bed frame through the doorways too. Yes, it comes with a security cable that bolts to the inside of the safe, so it can be tethered to an immovable object.You can set fingerprints & combinations for few people; fingerprint opens the spring-loaded lid in about 1 secondary less. Then there's an app that can be used to program & open it, and, of course, 2 keys, Programming instructions seem a bit complex, but scan the QR code and you can watch a video of it being programmed. Watch the video a couple times, then follow the video, pausing for each step, to program it. You can clear & start over if you need to.There is some noise when you open it, One is the female voice talking, the other is the click of the lid unlocking. They aren't exceptionally loud,but someone nearby is going to hear it. If there's a way to turn it off or turn it down, I haven't discovered it yet.It's roomy enough that I have a full size and a compact in it, but with attachments, without them being crowded together.I also keep a couple other small things in there, things I want secured without the hassle of the big safe.I bought this particular one because a friend has it and was telling me about his. I'm very pleased with this and believe it to be worth every penny I spent for the peace of mind it gives me, knowing the weapons are secure but can be accessed in literally a second if needed.

This is very well made gun safe! This unit has everything, great fingerprint reader that actually works, two keys, multiple passwords to get in, great instructions, non slip pads on the bottom, made of steel, great battery, great instructional videos, everything. This is quality in every regard and very well thought out, not cheap.Great purchase, I am very happy. The only negative, is that the dimensions are a bit misleading. The functional size of this unit is 2.5'X6"X11". The lip of the opening and the hinges at the back take a lot away from the functional size of the unit. It works for me, but the functional size is smaller than the description. The box opening is smaller than the box and fumbling to get your CCW out in the middle of the night will hit the metal edges and alert the home invader with the loud metal to metal sound.See the attached pictures for a better idea of the size of this unit (larger model B1) versus their smaller and less expensive unit (B2). These pictures are my 44 Mag and my Sig P229. I programmed 3 fingers on both my strong and weak hand for multiple backup quick access. The finger print reader works perfectly, every time. I tried my fingers that were not programmed and they did not work. I am very, very impressed with the finger print reader!I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it highly. It is quality. I hope the pictures are helpful. I show my fanny packs with my Sig P229 and flashlight in each. It fits in the larger B1 model for $99, but does not fit in the smaller B2 model for $69. I bought this to lock up my gun in the trunk when I valet my car and have anchored it to a hardpoint in the trunk via the very thick and strong cable they provided.

I was concerned about having grandkids around my guns of coarse. My last safe was recalled and so I looked for a new one. This one was just what I was looking for. I purchased the brown and it looks great! It’s heavy and good quality. I was worried about not being able to get into it with my finger print. It just seemed not to work every time and I had to push in the code. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I don’t have big hands so I was trying to make sure as much of my finger covered the finger ID plate as possible. I was pushing my finger down which changes how it looks. I stopped doing that and just gently place my finger there and it works every time! It’s always worked for my husband. It will record more than one print and code. It is rechargeable which is great!!! I check it every couple of days to make sure it’s still working. So far I haven’t had to charge it although it has batteries and I suppose maybe it’s just using those? I should maybe look into that and charge it up again. Lol! Regardless, I am more than happy with it! It is large inside. I actually am able to put 3 guns inside. I feel like my grand kids are safe from harm now. The code works well too. You just have to remember to end the numbers with the symbol at the end kind of like when you end a code with a hashtag. So worth its weight in gold to me for peace of mind alone.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very impressed with this safe as well as the instructions on how to use it. It’s pretty easy to set up and was well thought through for use and of course storage. I would never use the optional phone app but it’s a nice plus.
