TOO MUCH FUN for a puzzle addict
Love this. I love all of the puzzles I've bought from Original 3D crystal puzzles. The carousel is one of the more difficult and beautiful puzzles. I consider my self experienced with puzzles as I've been doing them for, um.....decades. I read somewhere there is a website to show you how to put these together, but I haven't found the need to visit it yet. The carousel is challenging due to the number of pieces and the pair of old eyes I was issued. Working with the picture on the box as a guide (C'mon manufacturer, how about nicer pictures like they put on jigsaw puzzles!) it took me several hours to figure out how to put all the pieces in place. I love that all the puzzles I've worked with so far have the stabilizing posts that screw into place to keep the pieces together for display but can be easily removed if you want to take the puzzle apart and put it together again. I think the carousel is my favorite puzzle so far. I think the 3D Crystal puzzles are great gifts for older children and adults. This old, childish adult certainly loves them!

OMG IT ACTUALLY SPINS!!! This is so unique!!
This one was by far the most challenging one of these puzzles I have done so far. I took a break from it and came back and finished it, much to my surprise. You have to construct the base and two huge round pieces and fill in the in-between pieces to sandwich it together and then screw in the two little rods it gives you, which seriously helps so the base doesn't fall apart as you try to complete the rest of it. I was wondering how the horses on the poles went in. They just snap together as two halves sandwiching the pole in between, and then the pole connects to the top piece of the carousel. Very interesting!! I was so shocked and pleased that mine actually SPUN and the horses sort of dangle like they're moving along with it, they are not stuck in place exactly. Be wary though that the top can slide up and off, it is not secure to the master pole in the center that connects the top and bottom. All in all I would still give 5 out of 5 stars. It is very unique, challenging, fun, and very pretty!!!! It is definitely my centerpiece out of all the ones I have made so far.

Better than expected
This is my first 3D puzzle and started off difficult, but once I got the hang of it, it was a fun challenge. I do think I might be missing a piece in the top, but it could be user error somehow. I’d buy more!

Very cool, very Hard to assemble
I love how it looks when done, but took nearly a year and at least 3 attempts to finally finish it. Pieces have to be placed in order. Have to get "instructions" off internet. Have to identify pieces 1-100 to place in order. I tried to ID each piece with a little sticky note. I'd take notes off after piece was placed, but pieces are very unstable until final key is placed. So it collapsed 1/3 of the way through. I had to ID the pieces again (which is hard). Tried again and it collapsed. Finally decided to ID pieces with fine permanent marker. Because the pieces are clear, it's hard to see where they go. I ended up doing it by GENTLY feeling them. some pieces are very similar to others which makes it difficult. Of course, over a year, I lost a piece, had to figure out which it was. Did get free replacement. I'm stubborn and would not let it beat me. I separated all the numbered pieces in a tray with cubicles so I had 1-5 in one, 6-10 in another etc to make it easier to find pieces. I finally DID get it done, but it was hard. But I feel good that I finally did and it looks great.

Very pretty and I like that it moves
The media could not be loaded.  It looks very cool on my desk and it didn’t take too long to finish. I watched a video on youtube to complete it.

Confusing at first, but that's what makes it fun
Persevere if you don't get it right away. I was very confused at first and it can also be a bit hard to see with the clear pieces, but I found that by starting with the top of the skull and working my way down I was able to get into the flow and finish. It was such a great way to clear my head and stretch my brain a bit. I liked it so much I decided to buy one as a gift and another teddy bear one by this same brand for myself.

Fun to complete and a pretty conversation piece!
I am a puzzle enthusiast, and recently stumbled upon the 3D crystal puzzles. The castle is my first purchase of these types of puzzles, but it definitely won't be my last! I had a lot of fun working on it, and it's very pretty once assembled. Most puzzles I complete ultimately get taken apart because I just don't have the space to store or display them, which is sad, but this piece fits nicely on a shelf, and visitors are intrigued by it. It's hard for them to believe that it came in 105 pieces! The total completion time for my pace/skill was about an hour and a half, and it made for a nice, quiet evening activity after my kid went to bed.If the surface you use to work on is dark, the light-colored pieces are much easier to see. I started on a light wood table, but I had a hard time with the pieces, so I threw down a dark towel for the work surface, and that helped immensely. The rod inserts are great and I didn't have any issues with them. They make the castle sturdy enough that if it falls, it won't be destroyed, but I did put a drop of glue for each flag to hold them in place.I love this puzzle. If you like puzzles, you need to try the 3D crystal puzzles!

Beautiful, I love this one.
This one is my favourite yet. Was fun and challenging to put together, and it looks so beautiful once completed. This is just perfect. I wish there was more like this one in terms of how difficult it was, and its display appeal. A+ Took me just under 2 hours from start to finish

A beauty
I'm addicted to this 3D crystal puzzles! I started off with the purple clam, then got the egg (I especially love the yolk!) and then this beautiful pink carousel! It took a bit longer to assemble than the other two as I think there are more parts, but it's worth it. I use the puzzle guides as I was worried that I wouldn't be able do without! I've got one more on the way- a pink My Melody! and I will try to assemble without the guide. If you do use the guide, just be cool because I found that some of the pictured pieces weren't actually accurate/the correct piece to place next. This only happened twice I think in the 3 puzzles I've received so far but is something to remember if you find yourself getting frustrated! Also, pay extra attention to the horse halves as they fit specific pieces and are not all the same, don't force them together as they could break!I love to look at these pretty puzzles and this one in particular is so cute as you can carefully turn the top to move the carousel round <3 so happy with it :D
