Whatever comes out of a regular wall socket in the US. Works like any other electoral appliance. These things are great. I use them at work to clip surgical patients, then bought one for my home use. They last for many years

how close is the shave? i will be having surgery and need to save the area and cannot use a "regular" razor for fear of infection to the area.

Technically, to prevent infection, your surgeon should shave you on the operating table. The 3M shaver does an adequate job for surgery purposes.

Great product for shaving heads. Very economical.

I bought these because my husband had an AP shunt placement. They completely shaved his head prior to surgery and he looked much younger with a shaved head. I’ve continued to shave his head since then. This is the exact product the hospital used and they were wonderful. They are easy to use and do a great job. They are charged using a USB supplied cord and the charge lasts a long time.

Works amazing!

We first saw this in action Pre-OP before a surgery. I was thrilled to find one on Amazon. When dealing with an area that will always have adhesive covering it, it is so nice to be able to get a close shave. You won’t get that with the typical electric razor ( I know!) been there done that!

It says "starter kit" but does not include blades! Compatible blades are difficult to find unless you want to buy in bulk for over $200!
