The Unexpected Guest

Not yet finished reading this excellent Agatha Christie novel, but well into it and KNOW that it will be another winner... even the opening setting of the first few sentences of the book curl your toes up, and will make your hairs stand on end.

When purchasing this book- I did not notice "Novelisation by Charles Osborn!" Nor does it say if Novelised from a play or a short story!!! I have not read it nor intend on reading it!

Oh dear.Some reviewers turn the word novel into a verb ; others refer to the novelisation of the stage play ; some include plot spoilers.A very slight work in my opinion.

This is a book when I started to read it didn't make sense, but I carried on and am I glad I did, this has to be one of the best of Christies I have read. Very good reading.

This is a difficult book to read as it is a somewhat economical stage play adaptation and is pretty much a write up of the script without any embelishment or development. Indeed, I'd say; Really dull read untill the last page when Agatha hits you between the eyes and demonstrates, yet again, how blindingly clever she is. lol
