Door and frame seem to be solidly built. The install was simple enough, you can secure the flange with a construction adhesive, or bend the tabs back to sandwich it on the drywall. If you leave the tabs straight, you can screw straight into the studs/framing. Or a combination of both. For mine, I screwed the latch side to nearby studs, and then folded the hinge side around the drywall. The latch is a little tough to use, it's not very "smooth" but it's something that is so rarely used, I'm not really worried about it.

Perfect access for what I needed. I am finishing my basement and have to leave access to various things (like drain cleanouts, the water valve, etc.). These doors are very sturdy and will give the finished appearance I am looking for. I have also dropped the door a few times as I work to install it and the baked enamel has held up well.

This would be rated a 5 if it weren't for the way Amazon shipped it. The metal cover appears to be well made and the door functions well. The rough cut is just a hair over 10x10. The bad... it's shipped with 0 protective padding and just the thin plastic covering so all the corners arrived bent. I normally would've returned the damaged item, but needed to get this in place immediately, so I bent all the bent corners back straight. A simple box would've prevented this issue. Looking at other reviews, it looks like a gamble on whether you'll get one without damage.

I am working on fixing our dryer duct that is enclosed in a drywall and I found this that would make it easier for us to work on our system. The only thing is that it lacks the pull tab option because you have to turn the lock with a screwdriver to gain access to it but it works as intended. It does not come with any screws but got anchors on the sides to screw it in. I just used a heavy duty liquid nails.

Excellently made cover. Just a little cutting with a drywall saw to make it all fit. The screw holes in the side tabs worked perfectly to anchor one side to the wall and then bent back the other side to secure it to the backside of the drywall.
