Does this products good for baby?

If your baby has thick/or knotted hair I believe it would work. I would caution to make sure not 2 get near baby’s 👁/face. So possibly have baby entertained with something so they stay still.

Is the scent similar to pink Johnson's baby lotion?

No, it does have a more chemically induced smell. Not similar to the classic baby lotion smell. It works as a detangler but honestly the smell is a reason not to get it.

?Does this take the natural curl out?

It doesn't it did weigh my daughter's hair down and made her curls not so bouncy
