Q: can this be used for clothing that gets laundered?

I have found it’s only temporary. It’s mostly used to temporarily attach leather and vinyl but I’ve used on cork and fabric as well. You then need to either sew or rivet. It helps the materials not shift while sewing together.

Q: What fabrics are compatible with the use of this double faced basting tape?

You can use this on polyester, cotton, canvas, denim, leather, Lycra, or pretty much anything you can imagine!

Q: Will the glue yellow or become noticeable over time, or will it remain transparent?

It remains transparent and is thin enough that when left in place, it is hardly noticeable.
