I have a water pump that has a 1/2 inch npt inlet and outlet, but i need to connect it to a 3/4 inch tube. will this product work for me?

No, this fitting won't work for you. The female side of this fitting is 1/2" npt but the male threaded side is 3/4" straight pipe thread. There is no taper to the straight pipe threads, so they won't seal if you try to use it with any fittings that are npt thread.

Are g thread same as bspp?

I googled and it says bspp is also refered to as G thread.
