Think you’ve figured it out? Think again!
Tipping Point is amazing! Bill Noel has done it again with this novel. As many have said, his character development is next to none. We gain more knowledge and understanding about established characters as we get to know new ones. Always fun! Tipping Point continues the Folly Beach Mystery tradition of quirky, lovable (and some not so lovable) characters, humor, friendship, all in the beautiful bohemian environment of Folly Beach, SC. Oh yeah, and there is a murder or two. In addition to the familiarity in this series which we’ve all come to love, with each new novel Bill’s exceptional creativity delights us with a fresh invigorating story entwined with thrilling twists and turns you’ll never expect – or forget.

Disappointed
First let me say, I have loved every book in this series up to now. The characters are like old friends. This book, however, seemed to get away from Mr. Noel. The story started off strong, but then it floundered. While the fun Chief Lamond is at a lost who killed the pilot, so are the main characters and readers. The author keeps repeating old information, while getting lost in a tell not see mode. One third through the story, I wondered if Mr. Noel even wrote this latest book in his wonderful Folly Beach series. And it doesn't get any better. The ending appeared to be a struggle to write, throwing out any and all possible scenarios that never made sense. I will read the next book in this series. I am a fan. Anyone can have an off time writing. I just hope the next book is better plotted out and written in a see not tell way that I've become accustomed to with this writer.

A gripping, while entertaining murder mystery.
I have now read all 19 of Bill Noel’s Folly Beach Mystery books. I feel like I personally know the main characters who have been in every book. I never see it coming as to who committed the murder - one of the traits of a good mystery writer. I am sad as each book ends, and eagerly await the next one in the series. All of Bill’s books leave me feeling that I was right there with the characters. Can’t wait for the next one.

Wonderful!
I've read all of Bill's Folly Beach Mysteries and have thoroughly enjoyed them all! I feel as though I personally know all of his regular characters and enjoy meeting the new ones introduced in each story. Every visit to Folly Beach has me wondering if the people and places I see are the inspiration for some of his stories. A very entertaining read and I look forward to the next one!

Couldn’t put the book down didn’t want it to end
I waited until I got to folly beach before I read the book. I was there amoung all the places mentioned in the book so much fun to be there while reading the book. Have pre ordered the fog and plan be in folly when I read it.. the books are so entertaining and make me laugh out loud at times and then suspenseful at times.

Chris and Charles do it again
Chris and Charles can't figure out who did the murder because they can't figure out who the intended victim was. Four potential victims and half a dozen suspects leads to a lot of suspense! All the usual quirky characters, plus some new ones, plus visits from some that have not been around for awhile makes for a great story. Thank you Bill Noel for another wonderful book in the Folly Beach series.

Tipping Point
This truly is a “Tipping Point!” It’s his best book written thus far in his career! He even has the time to add another new character “Virgil” and not miss a step with the flow of the book. We have truly a great murder mystery writer among us! Thanks 🙏 Bill , keep up the great work! Looking forward to reading the next adventure!

Great book
Really enjoyed this book. Hated to put it down to do other things until I was finished with it. Chris and Charles really dig deep into these murders, putting themselves at risk by doing so. Book was funny at times, but the mystery really kept my attention to the end. Can't wait for next Folly Beach mystery.
