A Great Upgrade 👍
This suspension system, frame, shoulder straps and lumbar pad, are a great upgrade to the ALICE pack frame with or without the bag. It can be converted to several configurations and makes the ALICE pack bearable for portage or cargo loads.If you use the polymer frame for cargo you will need to get enough straps to secure your load, such as a jerry can, wire reel or ration boxes.When carrying your subsistence load, or third line, you can carry your load more comfortably, for longer distances and not suffer repetitive motion injuries.Item arrived new, in wrapper and correctly assembled. Well worth the price. Item arrived quickly.

Over all good.
It came put together which was nice, however it didn’t come with the compression strap which is used to hold tent/iso mat on your main pack. Those who are looking to buy this item would also need to purchase a compression strap as well.

Bait-and-switch. The frame you see is not what you get.
What is shown in the photos is the 1606-MC upgraded Packframe which does not crack. What I got was the 1606-AC Packframe which has been known to crack and is why Down East upgraded it. Also, the manufacture is Propper International, not Eagle as advertised.

Does not come with comp straps
Be aware this does not come with compression straps just a heads up, when you’re ready to order make sure you get everything so you can use this

Great frame and better customer service.
Originally the pack only arrived, carrier lost the frame. Amazon asked if they sold the frame alone, shipped super fast, former Army Ranger, fits like a glove.
