A Well Made Board That Paddles Well
I do a lot of paddling - canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. This is the fourth inflatable that I've owned, and the cheapest one I've purchased. Inflatables have come a long way in the last three or four years, and Nixy seems like a good example of how far these new companies have come.I'm not a huge fan of the 6" thick boards, but those are the standard you're going to get for most part, if you're spending less than a grand. 4" and 5" boards just feel more natural, but aside from that, I am super happy with the Nixy. As advertised, it's very lightweight, but seems solid and stiff when inflated to 15psi. It looks good on the water and paddles pretty straight and cruises smoothly. I'm a big fan of the US Box fins in all three positions, which gives more options for how to set it up. The pump is fantastic, the three piece paddle is fine, but always prefer two-piece carbon paddles - they just feel lighter and stiffer. The storage bag is well made, but the trend right now is to make them huge and heavy, with wheels for pulling through an airport, when what I'd really love is a lightweight pack that carries easily down a trail then compacts well for a trip down a river. No one is making those, so I can't fault Nixy for that choice. My one criticism would be the deckpad - it's not terrible or anything, but it's a tiny bit slick and not quite as thick as the better boards I've paddled. It would be great to see them go to a slightly thicker and more textured pad in future versions.Of course there is no telling how this will hold up over a few years of use, but after paddling it for a couple weeks, it feels well made and solid quality. Good enough for a 5 star review.

Fantastic recreation SUP
I’ve had a fiberglass SUP for 5 years which I love but decided to add an inflatable board to our fleet of watercraft for the portability. This company and their boards got good reviews so I decided to go with them. I bought it midsummer 2019 and used it as much as possible through the rest of the summer. It’s a good set in that it comes with everything you need to get started except a life jacket: board, backpack, pump, fins, board leash, and paddle. All together it is heavy but not unmanageable. The board itself is lightweight. The electric pump was sold out so I’ve only used the manual pump. It does take effort but I’ve been able to inflate the board to the needed PSI in under 10 minutes every time. Make sure that you read and understand the instructions: without them I would have seriously under inflated it.It sits about 2 inches higher in the water than my fiberglass board but that hasn’t effected the stability in a noticeable way. The tracking is decent. It’s a good board for general recreation. It has plenty of bungees for storage. The deck is comfortable to stand on with or without shoes and it’s also comfortable to kneel on for paddling. The fiberglass paddle that comes with it is heavier than my carbon fiber paddle, which is to be expected, but it’s still manageable for multiple hours of paddling. It’s been used by multiple paddlers with consistently good results: from a lightweight 13 year old to a tall (6’3”) mid years. It’s served all the paddlers well. All were moderately to very athletic individuals, but not all had that much experience SUPing. I would consider it to be a good entry level and above board. The one consistent negative on the board was that the main fin was difficult to place and screw in, and indeed it was. What really impressed me was that a few months ago I received a replacement fin from the company that fixed the problem. That gives me confidence that if I do have issues in the next year and a half while it’s under warranty that I’ll be taken care of.As with any water craft, know what you want out of it and do your research. If you want a solid recreational board that’s relatively portable, this seems to work well for that application. It’s affordable and so far has proven to have excellent quality. Based on my experience thus far I would purchase it again.

With the money. Lot’s of fun.
Love the board. Is a bit tough to navigate in the ocean waves. Easy to inflate / deflate. Great customer service. Board is big and thick. Good for beginners / intermediates.Def. recommend.Do yourself a favor. If you’ve never boarded before, take a couple lessons first. Learn how to fall properly. In the three months i’ve had the board i’ve Sprained my finger, chipped a tooth, and broke an ankle. No fault of the board. But BE CAREFUL.

Excellent Quality, Compact Storage, Good options
It is a workout to pump up for sure but we could all use the extra exercise anyway. All components seem to be of good quality...Storage Bag, Fins, Leash, Board, Paddle, etc. I'm 6'4" @ 250 and it worked great. I felt totally safe on it, had no indication it was going to sink. I even paddled around with my 45lb son for a bit and it was solid. Seas have been pretty rough the chances I was able to try it though so haven't got the hang of it yet and mostly stayed on my knees but still lots of fun. The good quality padding on the board was a must have since I was mostly on my knees. I may even consider the kayak conversion if it goes on sale for longer distance outings. Compactness for storage is great since I only have a closet to store it in. People hear by took great interest in it as well being inflatable and had lots of questions and those that had seen inflatables before were very impressed had solid it was compared to others they have seen.

BEST bag and a great iSUP!
This inflatable SUP has a wonderful bag! Roomy, sturdy, 3 sturdy wheels, handles on top and side, backpack straps, and plenty of room. SUP is lightweight but very well made. Love the bungees fore & aft. The board is wide and stable. At 10'6" it's not going to be the fastest in the fleet, but this is a really nice board that I've taken all over the place for the last year - choppy saltwater, smooth river water, etc and I've been real pleased. The only down is the fin is tight to get in, I hammer it a big with my screwdriver handle, but... this means it won't pop out either like some that clip in. I've hit the fin numerous times in shallow water, and it's never budged.

Wonderful and fun
The board is easy to inflate, set up and pack up. I used a combination of an electric pump, then the hand pump they provide to get to the max psi. It’s easy to stabilize and paddle, definitely a good choice for beginners. The material feels like good quality, the paddle is light. The board itself is cute and has lots of space for your belongings.I have only used it a couple times but I have really enjoyed myself and am looking forward to a summer on the board.I’d also like to mention both Amazon and the Nixy staff were prompt and helpful when I had questions surrounding the shipping information. Lovely customer service.

Ligera, estable y bien acabada

Lots of “pros”, one con
Delivery was on time and it was packaged very well. The backpack is well made and has lots of room to easily store everything in it. It took less than 10 minutes to inflate to 15lbs. love the 3 stage pump. It would have been a lot harder without the third stage and I couldn’t imagine pumping it up with a single stage. The 2 small fins were easy to attach, the big one took a bit more finesse, not a deal breaker. This sup is crazy light, my 14 year old daughter had no problem carrying it. The fibreglass paddle goes together easily and is also incredibly light. The board is very stable for light-weights and those not so much. It tracks well and is fast. I (200lbs relatively fit male) on a good quality hard board, couldn’t keep up to my 90lbs 14 year old daughter on the Nixy, in a race. It wasn’t even close and I was paddling hard. We all have had a ton of fun on this board, including the dog! It is every bit as durable as the ones I looked at that cost twice as much, so I think it’s good value for the money.Really my only con, is, now I have to buy at least 1 more! Sitting on the beach watching someone else paddling on it is really annoying!

Love it but accessories unavailable in canada
I love this board. It’s stylish, sturdy, easy to inflate and comes with an excellent carry bag. I’ve given it three stars because the accessories available in Canada are next to nil. My plan was always to get a kayak seat, shoulder strap and additional paddle for converting to a kayak. Unless I pay exorbitant shipping fees I cannot get these, nixy’s customer support has not reponded and there is little availability on Amazon. Considering the price point I anticipated more availability and responsiveness. Had I done more of this research I would have gone with an iRocker.

Looks and feels amazing, everything good quality. Middle fin was a bit of a ball ache to get in but not a deal breaker.Still haven’t got it on the water but hopefully going away this weekend. Can’t wait to give it a go!!!
