Genuine Acura Accessories 08L91-STX-200A Trailer Hitch Harness

Instructions were clear and easy to understand. You do have to drop the spare tire down to get to some of the grommets but installation was only about 45 mins to an hour.

If you follow Acura instructions, it is not too bad to install. This is a good quality harness for Acura MDX.

Real OEM parts, the package included everything I needed for the install.

I was desperate and had to try it since I couldn't find one for my model year. I don't have reverse lights but have electric brakes. The control part inside doesn't bolt up, but it works and since I had a 1400 mile drive with a 3500 lb trailer, and no trailer kits available for a '08 MDX, and only 3 days until travel, I chanced blown relays and fuses. It worked on the test and continued to work until this day (1 month later). Everything other than the main bracket clipped together as designed. I bolted the bracket to an available location, but have to be careful I don't bump the relays. I will remove and replace at a later date to make sure it doesn't get damaged in the future.

Looks great and installs perfect on the Acura tow hitch. Quality is good to on the harness to protect the wiring.

This harness fit the vehicle perfectly. Only problem was securing connector to non oem trailer hitch - some modification required. Brake controller harness included making installation of a brake controller (not included) very easy.
