Microsoft Office 2010 for Dummies 1st Edition

It is great because it is a book that is for people who don't know terminology or computers very well. It is also a great quick reference for those of us who do. I haven't watched the dvd but looked up a couple of things as workd 2010 is very different, but most of it isn't that different just a little dressed up. Now I want to get into the new office program. Love my computer and like the fact this book helped my mom.

After using an old version of Office it was time to update when I got a new computer. Thinking I could just carry on with Office 2010 and not much would change, I was wrong. Office 2010 for dummies was extremely helpful especially with learning more about excel. The CD was helpful also for fast tips. It is still helpful to have some basic knowledge of the workings of Office.

The book is an easy to read and understand about the basics of Office 2010. I read about half the book in just over 2 hours. There were a lot of little tips and tricks to help me get better familar with Office.

The DVD takes you step by step through the basics, while the book goes Into things more in depth. Well worth the price. I use it a lot for a reference when I just cant remember how to do something.

I found the book extremely helpful. Easy to understand although it does skip some of the basics which surprised me since it's a book for self confessed "dummies."The DVD was useless. Too quick too follow. After all, this is a DVD for people that need to learn the basics and this video did not help at all.I'd buy the book again. Skip the package that includes the DVD and save yourself some money.

I like it!I don't have 13 words to say & I don't see why its mandatory to have a lot to say about MY purchases ~ either I like it or don't like it ~ why do I have to write a book? why don't you simply put a brief description in the headliner or summary ~ you should be trying to make it easier for clients to want to leave feedback ~ this is to much work!

The dummies books are always very informative and take time to digest. The DVD was disappointing and does not offer much indepth instruction. It could be left out and lower the price of the package.

I purchased a different version of the same subject. It was supposed to be a simple to use book. I bought this one because it is clearer and easier to follow the instructions. I use it every day
