Much better than other reviews would make you believe
It was kind of tricky picking a cheap lawnmower as reviews seem mixed for all of them in the £80-150 range. I have cut the grass once now with this, grass was long too on a not quite smooth lawn. The mower did the job well. People have mentioned about it not collecting all of the grass it cuts, and I agree on first pass not all grass had been collected (maybe 10% left behind) but then on second pass it's collected all of the remaining bits. The lawnmower is not particularly loud, and was easy to assemble and folds down easily. I agree with the comments about the structural quality. This mower is noticeably flimsier feeling that the old Flymo mowers, but let's be honest it's £100, you have to expect some flex in the plastic. It doesn't however feel like it's going to break or crack, and it makes it quite light in weight. All in all this is a good lawnmower for the price, doing what you buy it for: cutting the grass acceptability and collecting the cuttings for you.

Light & easy to use
Delighted that this model is far lighter to carry than the previous Glider 330. It’s easy to use & set up, instructions are clear. The plastic they’ve used to build it is quite flimsy and there’s a knack to keeping the lid shut. Quite expensive for what it is, although it cuts well.

No stripes but good cut look
It hovers. It is light. It packs away and hangs on a hook in the garage. It has a grass collection box. It does require assembly but it is really straightforward. It is supplied with 3 spacers which are used to adjust the length of cut of the grass. I just put 2 spacers in and am pleased with the cut.

Needs improvement
Bought this Flymo Easiglide 330 V hover mower to replace an older Flymo hover mower which served me well for 8 years. However, although this would probably be a slight upgrade to my old one, it is inferior. The power cable wraps around 1 upper & 1 lower plastic peg. The thing is, you then cannot collapse (fold down) the upper part of the handle. It is more awkward to wrap the cable when handle is folded. The grass collection is ok, but leaves lots of loose clippings about. My old mower did but not to this extent. You then have to re-mow up the clippings that it has blew out from the blade. The blade is metal, straight, oblong in shape unlike the bevelled ends of the older mowers. Be careful when putting on the blade to tighten! Wear gloves, otherwise you will cut your hand as there is not much surface to grip.Grass box fills up quickly, doesn't hold much and can spill out if you pick it up wrong when going to empty. The grass view window is useless. After 1 use the clippings stick to it so you cannot judge if box is full by sight alone.Biggest disappointment, apart from it spraying clippings everywhere, is that even with only 1 blade spacer on it cuts too short - about 1" grass height. I had to use the blade without ANY spacers to get the grass height to be about 1 1/2" - 2".Build quality is ok, feels on the flimsy side. And why do the developers not have a neat, smooth, curved underside for easy cleaning??? Too many nooks & crannies making cleaning problematic.Needs future improvement. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars in all categories because 3 would be too harsh.Cost should be about £70 as £90 is too much for the cons the mower has.

5 Star performance but poor design and Flymo learns nothing from its customer reviews
I bought this item to replace a 14 year old Flymo which had reached end of life. I read reviews of this mower and learned that the blade could be overtight and impossible to undo on delivery and the handle is very difficult to collapse. I found both of these problems to be true However thanks to another reviewer who said put the plastic spanner on the blade nut and tap it with a hammer, I followed his advice and after a lot of tapping I was successful in loosening the blade nut. As regards the handle you need to squash the sides together in order to collapse it however I had to put a small wooden wedge in the slot on one side and then do the same to the other in order to collapse the entire handle otherwise you cannot hold the handle in the correct position to do the collapse. This is a pretty stupid idea and the difficulty is again highlighted in Amazon customer reviews. It is just that Flymo obviously takes no interest in these reviews. If you want to collapse the handle at the other rotation place, you have to loosen the holding nuts so far that they fall of before you can pull the upper part far enough apart to collapse the handle in this way another poor design point. However when you start using the mower and forget the handle troubles it works very well (although not all reviewers agree on this).
