Consider going two sizes up if you want a relaxed fit for knee pads
My goal for these was to use them as backup protection for my knees for snowboarding and figure skating. I wanted them to be a relaxed fit and not too bulky and not impede movement, but to be there to provide a little bit of extra protection in case I fall directly on my knees. Even though I'm an average sized female, I ended up getting a size XXL. The chart placed me at a size L. But they felt way too tight, and I exchanged them for XL, but those felt a little too tight for me as well. So I ended up getting XXL, and those felt pretty good - not too tight but not loose. Maybe for scenarios where perfect comfort is not a priority and you need them to be secure for more impact, just one size up would be good; maybe they'd stretch a little over time. I tried my XXL while snowboarding once and I forgot I had them on but they felt secure. I didn't fall though, so I can't speak to their level of protection. They seem like they would be good for situations where you want some protection but you aren't necessarily looking for a ton of cushion. The reason I chose these knee pads is because they seemed like they cover the sides of the knee a little bit as well. I tried another knee pad that had a lot of cushion in a small area and I felt like it hurt my knee when I tested gently landing on my knees on the carpet, because the knee pad would shift in an awkward way. The XXL I have definitely provides a lot of coverage all around the knee.

I am in my mid forties and my knees do not like this. Last year I tried some foam knee ...
I purchased these for bowhunting in Eastern Oregon. I practice spot and stalk for Mule Deer and spend a fair amount of time and distance crawling through the grass and sage. I am in my mid forties and my knees do not like this. Last year I tried some foam knee pads which move around too much, are uncomfortable and noisy. I was looking for an alternative and decided to try these. They are light, flexible and seem to offer just enough protection without moving around excessively. If worn outside the pants they are not to bad but taking the time to slip them over your shoes and inside feels better. I expect them to hold up for one or two seasons depending on use and then be replaced. I am ok with disposable products as long as they increase my comfort and success rate hunting.

Good, but not the greatest pad
Bought this for hockey, and specifically got these because i can wear them under other pads. They are good, and fit well, and conform to my knee nicely. I would prefer there to be a little more padding in them, but they are a good balance between padding than thickness.

Very nice material, and comfortable. True to size.
I use these for mountain biking and they are extremely comfortable. They are true to size, if you measure yourself according to the directions. They are made of a nice lycra / spandex type material which stays dry, is gentle to the touch and they stay up well. I don't take a lot of tumbles, however there are roots where we ride and my knees are constantly making contact with the crossbar (top tube) of the bike. No more bruises with these. Before these, I was wearing Mizuno knee pads which are made for volleyball. Those are certainly more tough, however not as comfortable as these.

Not true to size
Ordered according to the sizing chart, and it does not even come close to fitting. I didn't think there was going to be an issue, so I didn't try it on right away, and now it's too late to return it.

Very nice...
First impression, they give a good protection and they fit great, they seem to slide down a bit but I think that's because my quads are so massive. 😁 They wrap nicely around the knee. We'll see how long they last...UPDATE: I'm decreasing start because thy are not as durable for the price.

Fits under combat pants for airsoft but dont slide.
These are mad soft and feel mad soft. For real, DONT slide too hard. But you can kneel and scoot around. Worth buying as a basic knee pad even for gardening under pants. They have a hexagonal pattern with 2 levels that contour your your pad. Sizing is buy 1 size large and wear them for a day to wear the elastic in.

Comodidad en las rodillas
Cómodos y soporte en la rodilla, el ajuste no es perfecto xq se enrollan de cierta manera que debes ajustarlas cuando cambias de ejercicio, pero en general bien.

Comfortable all day
I use these for work, wear them all day. I don’t spend much time on my knees but when I do they provide enough cushion for the task and are much more ergonomic and comfortable then those designed with more protection
