They look great!
We purchased 3 of these fans, two from Amazon and one directly from the seller. The reason for directly from the seller was to purchase 3 12” down rods because we read on a few reviews that they take a different size rod. Not sure it that’s correct but that’s what we did. We wanted the longer down rod because several people had stated that is how you get better air flow. They put out great airflow and they look great. We didn’t want a remote, light or reverse so these fans were perfect for us. Only downside is they have a small wobble and we are looking into how to remedy that.

This product did not come w/a remote control.
The fan is large and puts out a nice breeze for a large area. it's also very cool looking and everyone loves the look. The price was reasonable for the size of it. I say go for it!

Want a flimsy fan that doesn’t push air down? If so, this is for you.
This fan is flimsy to say the least with incredibly thin blades that bend very easily. It wobbles so heavily to the point where it’s damaged beams in the screen porch I’ve installed it.On top of that it has no ability to reverse, it only pushes air up and not down - WHAT?? It’s entirely useless AND has caused damage.I am wishing I’d not made this purchase.

Well built. A bit on the noisy side
This fan is built well and looks great. I installed it in my garage/shop. I like the metal blades that over time will not sag. My fan is well balance with zero wable. The motor is a bit loud. It does not seem to move as much air as I would have expected. When at high speed this fan turns at a slower rpm than most fans.

Good fan, wrong down-rod
I purchased 2 of these to hang on my covered back patio. Reading through the comments I see a lot people complaining about the the amount of air this fan moves. I was disappointed as well but realized that the problem was the length of the down-rod -- more specifically that the fan could not pull-in enough air with a 6" down-rod, it's just too close to the ceiling. Under optimal conditions you'd need at least 2' of clearance to move the manufacture's claim of 8357.2 CFM and the provided 6" down-rod only allows for about 11" of clearance.Unfortunately, the Casa Vieja / Lamps Plus entry on Amazon does not allow you to order custom down-rods for this fan and they are *not* a standard diameter. After a quick chat with Lamps Plus, ordering 12" down-rods and reinstalling, these things will definitely blow your hair. The Lamps Plus folks were knowledgeable and courteous, it was a relatively painless experience.I understand the manufacturer's concern with safety, citing that the fan should be mounted at least 10' from the floor; after all, we're talking about a thin metal fan blade spinning at pretty good clip, it could do some serious damage. My patio has a 10' ceiling and even with the 12" down-rod I can barely touch the center housing of the fan. I'm not a tall guy but I'm reasonably confident the fans won't decapitate anyone. Well, maybe not. ;-)Out of the box the first fan was well balanced and did not wobble. The other took a little more effort to balance. It took 2 quarters (attached to the top with 3M double-sided tape near the tip) on 2 of the blades to get it steady. All said and done they're great looking fans and work well.

Big quiet and efficient the price unbeatable
This is a very large fan. It is super quiet and puts out the perfect amount of air..I love these 3 blade fans they look like a bird in flight, eloquent.

Nice style but slow and very weak
These look great and are pretty nicely made (aside from the wall switch). Installation was easy and instructions are good.Sadly they just don't have the speed or airflow to really do much cooling. They'd probably be ok for slowly circulating conditioned air, but they don't move enough air to create much of a breeze.
