Best Natural Foundation I've Found
I'm on my second bottle of this foundation and I feel like it's been enough time for me to leave a decent review.I normally wear Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Foundation in Fairly Light Neutral (fair to light skin with yellow and pink undertones) and wanted to find a foundation that wasn't so full coverage. I am a daily make-up wearer and always have to have foundation on due to acne scares caused from the great and mighty birth control. I also have some redness in my cheeks. I emailed the company to figure out what color would be suit me and they recommended Nude. It matches my skin perfectly during the fall/winter months (I only get a very slight change in color during the summer, but enough to throw my foundation color off) and looks very seamless when applied with a beauty blender. I have been battling with my skin since I stopped taking birth control over 2 years ago and slowly but surely I have figured out what works and what won't irritate my skin. The first 3 or so times I applied this foundation it did not look good on my skin. I think my skin has to get used to it because after the first 3 times it starts looking flawless (I always apply all of my foundation the same way). I remember that happened in the beginning with the first bottle I bought. Both times I put it away and didn't use it for a couple of weeks. This is now my go-to foundation! My skin has started to calm down and some of my scars are starting to heal. I would describe the coverage as medium and is somewhat build-able. It covers regular pimples really well, but doesn't have the best coverage for deeper scars. I just use a little bit of concealer to help those spots blend in better. I normally use 2 pumps and that gives me good coverage over my whole face. I pack a little bit more on my problem areas and it doesn't end up looking cakey at all. I work 2 jobs and normally apply my makeup first thing in the morning and this stuff lasts great from 6am-11pm or 12am when I get home. It breaks down a little bit over the scar areas, but not too bad. I've applied with a foundation brush and definitely like it better with my beauty blender. It does have somewhat of a strong scent when first applied, but for me it dissipates throughout the day. People are describing the smell as vanilla or cotton candy and some people have said they think the scent is so strong because its covering up other ingredients in this product. The smell is shea butter (which is a main ingredient in the foundation) and has a 0 rating on the non-comedogenic rating. Which means it absolutely won't clog pores or cause breakouts. If you're smell sensitive, I would just move on from this stuff and find something else. It's not gonna work for you.Overall, I highly recommend giving this stuff a try. I haven't had a breakout yet and I've been steadily using it for 2 months now. The bottle will last you quite a while if you're conservative with the amount you pump. I could probably get away with only using one pump if I didn't have acne scars to cover. Quality products that really is all-natural and good for your skin!

Great Stuff!
I really love this foundation. I feel it's the best 'healthiest' manufactured foundation I've ever bought & used. With just one drop applied with a brush, I think it offers a good medium coverage that leaves my skin feeling amazing. It's the only foundation I've ever used that I don't feel the need to use a powder on top because it doesn't leave any shine on my face. I'm telling on myself here, but I usually don't even wash my face at night when I wear this, especially since the drier winter season has started, because I like how it leaves my face feeling.BACKGROUND: I had to eliminate chemicals out of my life about 2 years ago for health reasons. I tried making my own makeup, but can't really make a good liquid foundation I like. With the help of the EWG website, I went back to manufactured foundation. I tried Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation, Nude Beige because it has a 2 EWG rating & the price is around $6, but it broke my face out. I found this product here on Amazon offering the health benefits I need. While I was hesitant to use this at 1st because of the $25 cost, desperation (& vanity) had me taking the plunge.MY EXPERIENCE: Trying to find the right color, especially at this cost, was a little tricky at 1st. I thought I needed the NUDE color, but they were out of it for a while, so I tried one shade darker, BAMBOO... BINGO! That color is perfect for me! It's pretty much spot on Maybelline's Nude Beige color.I liked this foundation so much, I got some for my daughter as a gift, but in the NUDE color because it came back in stock. I tried my daughter's NUDE color & it was surprisingly too light for me... but now it doesn't look like the BAMBOO is available. I'll buy it with this company if the color comes back in stock. If not, I'll get it through another company that has the BAMBOO color since there are other companies here on Amazon carrying this exact same product put under different brands.I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of the cost & the inconsistent color availability. Other than that, I definitely recommend this product.

Perhaps the Best Ever for Sensitive Skin
This may be my second review of this product. I just completed my first bottle and have ordered a second in the lightest color available. My skin is ruddy from rosacea, so a person with a very fair complexion may not find a color, which may be the biggest negative, except for the applicator which doesn't seem to work consistently. I've kind of given up with it. Overall, however, I think this may be the best all-natural foundation I have found, at any price. It does not pill with powder, you can use it over moisturizer, etc., (or without, or mixed with), and it can be applied with fingers (heavier), a makeup brush, or a dampened sponge (lightest). I do not break out from it!! It does not reveal dry skin patches, settle in wrinkles, or over-moisturize the oily places on my combo skin. It does not yellow as the day progresses like so many mineral makeups. The price on Amazon seems fair for the quality of the ingredients and the product. I should mention, however, that I stopped wearing liquid foundation in the summer months here in the South. Any that my skin can tolerate simply disappear in the heat of the day, including this product. But as soon as the days cooled off I began to wear this one again. I do dab off any excess with a damp sponge, especially before powdering or using blush. My first bottle spent the summer under a skylight on a window ledge and did not change color or consistency, or even separate. So I'd give this a try if like me you cannot use most foundations.
