BregWraparound, Open Back, Economy Hinged Knee Brace, Airmesh or Neoprene (Airmesh Material, Large)

I have used this model brace for 5 years and give my knee the proper support.

I wore this brace with a torn ACL pre surgery so I could attend college tours with my son! We walked all over touring East Coast schools! It was supportive and comfortable! Get the mesh so it’s cooler. After surgery, I wore this brace for another few months. Even when I returned to martial arts training! The soft sides make it acceptable so you don’t scratch up your other leg or anyone else. This brace also works for support for people with mild to moderate arthritis- let’s you stay active with less pain!

Bent over, hinge flew out the side. I would not recommend.

Got this from my medical care provider but had to return it and purchase an alternative because their entire stock of Breg braces exhibited a very unpleasant chemical smell. Washing with laundry detergent did not help, and attempts to query the manufacturer elicited no response.In the meantime: Agent of the manufacturer has since responded and offered to send replacement, free of charge. The replacement has since arrived and smell is much abated, if still noticeable. Ever hopeful, I refer to the Amazon article on the subject - https://www.amazon.com/ask/questions/TxMHK8GQBDNS7Q/ref=ask_ql_ql_al_hza - and have hung the new item up to air out. Have not yet worn the braces, so restrict my review to the action of the agent and look forward to actually experiencing the functionality.

I paid a $170 for this item and within 3 months in material started tearing. I ended up throwing it away and having my knee replaced and that took care of the problem

I knew BREG to be a household name in orthopedic care but unfortunately I have learned that they are not very ethical. I recently was provided a BREG knee brace by a provider after my daughter had a minor ski accident. I proceeded three months later to receive a bill from BREG for $462.56 after my insurance company had already paid $462.56 to them. In other words the were charging me over $900 dollars for the brace you see listed here on Amazon for $110 dollars. Its honestly hard to believe but I am now clear why people suggest our system is broken. Apparently BREG is a household name in leading that charge.

I wear a pair of these when I workout on my leg press machine. They keep my knees very stable!
