Really comfortable boots
I've been impressed at how comfortable these boots are. I started wearing them for short 2 mile walks on roads and tracks to break them in and didn't get any rubbing or hot spots. The only point that I would raise is that I ordered a size 13 and received a US 13 which is in fact a UK 12. However they don't come up as small as lots of mainland European produced boots so the UK 12 was actually big enough for me. They're warm, I haven't suffered from sweaty feet and so far they are completely waterproof.

Compared to the 2014 model wouldn't trust this on scree, sand, snow or mountainous terrain.
Wore this as a test replacement for a while. The sole isn't good for a number of terrains you find both in the UK and Norway.Stability is poor due to an overly narrow sole. Support for climbing steep paths in the toe of the shoe is lacking making it harder work to find traction.Vibram does not mean you can ignore/ overlook the tread design of the sole one is not instead of the other.Flimsy support around the ankle.Would also like to note that Salewa are hiding behind taxes between EU and UK as an excuse not to offer warranty in the UK.At this price I'm going to repair my old shoes which failed thanks to a radiator rather than wear and tear. (Salewa 2014)*Photos attached of old pair for comparison incase Salewa see this

Nice boots with some finish quality flaws.
Great, universal pair of walking / hiking boots with some finish quality flaws.+ The fit and size is very good (size UK7)+ 3F system for better ancle support+ Great lacing system+ Vibram soles+ 1-day delivery through Amazon Prime+ Easy replacement procedure with Amazon, new pair that should arrive within next working day- The boots were poorly finished inside (images attached) (the finish quality is much poorer than my girlfriend's £30 Karrimor boots)- The 'MULTI FIT FOOTBED' (MFF) boot insoles weren't included in the box, despite are presented on the images for this listingUpdated 29/11/2019I increased my score from 3 to 4 stars for quick reply I received from Salewa - they replaced now MFF with Ortholite insole; also you can extend the warranty to 3 years through online registration. However, I had to send 2nd pair back as the internal finish of the boot is still disappointing, comparing with other top boot manufacturers; replacement pair was also very narrow.End of story, goodbye Salewa.

Good comfortable boot
Lovely made boot quite stiff in the beginning but provide good support and stability if you have foot problems I recommend short hikes to get you feet used to the boots

Awesome
These are super comfortable very versatile lightweight alpine/scrambling/ferrata boots will take crampon for low grade alpine/ Scottish winter routes, the build quality is excellent, go for a 1/2 size bigger, I knew this when buying and mine fit me great.

Really good boots!
Really good quality (one of the best I'm told by the mountain gear shops nearby). Very pleased with them.
