I bought 4 QVS RCA 90 degree right angle adapters from Micro Center 3 days ago as part of a DIY alternative to short RCA cables for connecting together a Schiit stack. I saw these a day later for $9 total. I ordered them hoping, since they look identical to the QVS aside from the colors of the bands, they would sound identical and I could return the QVS adapters to save money.AB testing the adapters against each other connected to a normal RCA as well as against the RCA alone, I'm a little disappointed in these. The QVS ones do indeed look identical to these but don't affect the sound signature passing through. I tested with the first track of the soundtrack to Studio Ghibli's "Kiki's Delivery Service". The warm, smooth lower mids and upper bass heard in the right ear sound completely normal through the RCA cable alone as well as with the QVS adapters. The KK Cable adapters neuter the existing warmth.I wish they sounded exactly the same as the QVS, I'd be able to return those and save $18. wish i could have back the two hours I waisted looking to sus out the issue by assuming these "must" work fine... and that a single connector could be responsible for the sound loss!!nope this little 90 degree turn was the issue...so much for believing that if a product has unusual mass... it may mean its well made....not the case regarding these POSand I got twelve of them.... 3 orders of 4 pieces... and ALL of them did the same thing.Crap, total crap and don't bother weith ythese....Sound abhorrent and worth less then the metal they are made from...never heard any thing so terrible for sound loss from any adapter

These are very well made devices. They are nicely color-coded, with a black ring on two, and a red ring on the other two, making it simple to keep the right/left straight.I found that especially useful, if you are working with a smaller stereo box, and trying to plug cables in from the front-- with these, I only needed to drag my stereo around to see the back, once-- to install a pair of these in the AUX input. Then I pushed it back into place, and I could see over the top of my little stereo, to plug in the input cables (from an MP3 player's dock). The stereo backs up against a wall, and these allowed me to push it all the way back, without fear of damaging the cables.A set of four-- I only needed two (at this time), but now I have a spare set.I could detect no difference in music quality with or without these in place-- which I kinda expected, as they are gold-flashed. I expect it's not real gold, but an alloy of some sort, but they do not affect the signal quality at all.Yes-- I'd buy these again, if I needed additional connections.I just wish they came with a yellow color ring-- to use for video on a TV monitor. But that's what sharpies are for, right?

Mine are going onto the back of a cassette deck and well be seldom seen, except by me BUT....They are very finely finished, no machining grooves like those in the ad.how often do you buy something that turns out much better than you expected.delighted.

These work ok but had one that worked but with static when anything touched the cord going to the speakers I had them connected to.

On time and in good shape. I didn't realize that all connectors were identified with a black ring and white inside marking. So make sure you Dont need a left and right markings on the connector. They all look the same
