Fantastic read/Big cliffhanger
This book is amazing! I couldn't wait for its release after the way Real Ugly ended and I wasn't disappointed. It isn't your usual lovely dovey romance, it's much more raw. I love a good whodunit story but I hate when you can guess the culprit before you're half way through. This is another reason why CM Stunich is one of my favourite authors because there are so many twists and turns that you can't even hazard a guess at who it is or what is going to happen next. She has got suspense down to an art form and I love it! The huge cliffhanger at the end (again!) guarantees I will be first in line to get the third book and find out if our stubborn hero and heroine get their happily ever after.

Real Ugly and some....!
After finishing Real Ugly, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Get Bent.Following on from the cliff hanger at the end of Real Ugly, this book carried on drawing the reader further into a dark and mysterious place sounded by drink, drugs and sex. After an initial slow start to the book, the storyline started twisting and turning and led the reader further into the complicated lives of the characters. This book ended with questions still to be answered so I hope the author can maintain the story into book three, something which many authors fail to do.

Fantastic read but gotta wait for a third book. ARGHHHHHHH!
C.M. Stunich done it again. I downloaded this book at 1am and have had very little sleep as a result. It was refreshing to have a book that has no gushing hero and heroine. There are no flowers and rainbows here, everything is raw. The only thing is that we have to wait for a third book to hopefully get a conclusion and a HEA! The relationships between the characters have more of a focus in this book more so for Turner, Ronnie and Dax. All in all, C.M Stunich has become one of my favourite authors. If you liked books by Madeline Sheehan Sheehan and Sophie Munroe then you'll LOVE this author. But PLEASE C.M. Stunich, don't leave it too long for the next book.

Get Bent review
C.M. StunichGet BentHard Rock Roots #2Compared to Real Ugly this book seemed a little tamer, but that could just be because I had completely got used to the writers style by the time I started reading it. This book was a complete surprise, and I had no idea where the story was leading, but was happy to go along for the ride and just went with it as Turner searched for Naomi. As with Real Ugly, I was completely engrossed from start to finish, and although this book ended in a much better place, I'm still looking forward to the next instalment and hopefully getting some answers about who is behind it all.

GREAT Sequel!! Cannot Wait for Next Book!!
I really enjoyed this sequel and I loved getting to know Turner better and I especially liked that Ronnie played a bigger role in this book. The only thing I am a bit gutted about is having to wait for the next book. The intrigue and whodunnit is great but I just wanted a bit more in this one. As for Hayden I thought she was a bitch in the first book I think it notches up to full blown hate in this one.Really great book juts really need the next one.. like tomorrow.. or next week maybe?? Please?????? :)

An Addictive Series
The mystery of this book is intoxicating. New players are hinted at and current players are even more dangerous than we thought. The story is dark, dirty, and completely addictive.

LOVE this series!!!
Rating: 4.5 stars***Only read this if you've already read Real Ugly***We were left at the end of the first book wondering if Naomi was injured, killed or missing. I honestly have no idea how people who read that book survived the wait until this book came out. Kudos to you, I would’ve freaking had a conniption. Without spoiling how or why, I will tell you that Naomi is still alive – she did not die. However, she is noticeably absent from the first 45% of the book. As a result the first half of the book was told primarily from Turner’s point of view. And boy, do I love being in this man’s head. I was weary of him at first, but now I love this man. The amount of love and devotion he has towards Naomi amazed me, even when he didn’t know for sure if she was even still alive or not. For all he knew, she could’ve been dead, but yet he still knew there would be no one else for him. Naomi Knox is what he wanted and he wouldn’t rest until he got what he wanted. While the first book explored more of Naomi and Turner’s relationship or lack thereof, this book took the mystery behind who took Naomi and really opened the door to that storyline. I’ll admit that at times I was scratching my head and was confused as to what exactly was going on. There were so many pieces to this puzzle and so many theories that you had no idea what to believe or predict where this story was going. And this is the part that I loved – I never know who to believe so it kept me on my toes.Once Naomi reemerges, her relationship with Turner becomes even more confusing for her. She hates him. But, she trusts only him. She thinks he still is the same jerk that left her. But, then she finds some things out about the past, that threatens to change her view of him. She doesn’t love him. But, she can’t seem to stay away from him. It’s safe to say that while Turner is absolutely certain about his feelings for Naomi, she is even more confused than she was in the first book.I know I said I loved the mystery that is quickly taking root as the focal point of the series, but I just need to say how much I enjoy reading about Naomi and Turner’s unconventional relationship. In a world where I read primarily romance novels, it is refreshing to read a different kind of romance. One where there may be a physical attraction, but one of the characters fight it tooth and nail. It made their relationship more authentic to me and I love them for it.It’s hard to say much else about this book without giving anything away. But in short, you will get to know Turner a lot better in this book and you will get to see Naomi start coming around on the Team Turner side. In addition, new plot twists will consume you and you will not be able to put this book down. There is not a cliffhanger at the end of this book, but this story is far from over. There are still so many unanswered questions out there, so do not expect to have any real resolution at all. So if you are a fan of this series, you will definitely want to read this next installment in the Hard Rock Roots series.

boring
the story somehow started in the middle where the two main characters are apart and I could not quite follow the story. I did not have the patience to wait until the story got interesting, stopped after 100 pages. The main male character was not very likable and did not carry the story.

A really good sequel
What a good sequel. Normally, sequels aren't as good as the first books, however, that wasn't the case with this book. It keeps the the feeling of excitement and want-to-know-more and can't-get-enough feelings. The plot, the mystery and the writing are unique and creative like in the first book, however, I still couldn't connect with the characters. I hoped that maybe in the second book, I would connect more to them, but unfortunately it didn't happen. I felt like a by-stander, watching from the sidelines while the story unfold in front of my eyes, however, I couldn't get invested in the story and the characters didn't evoke any emotions in me.Although I didn't feel anthing for the characters, it is still a good book and I recommend it to anyone who wants to read a good rock star romance.
